A declaration of war!

It's now the day people have been waiting for the sports festival, people around the world have woken up bright and early just to see the events of the sports festival which was even more exciting this time around.

Izuku was getting ready while tying his shoe. "Good luck in the sports festival honey I'll make sure to record the whole thing." "Thanks mom I'll be sure to try my best.!" And with that Izuku was on his way to school when he had received an alert on his phone *reported sightings of the hero killer Stain in Hosu City* "Woah I hope the heroes there will be okay."
Deku then made it to school where he was met by Iida and told to get dressed into his Gym clothes and head to the waiting room with everyone else. By the time he got to the waiting room everybody was already doing their own thing he was planning to talking to momo a bit more until todoroki himself called him out.
"Midoryia." Todoroki had said it so loud that now the whole class was staring
"Uh- todoroki what's u-" "objectively I'm stronger than you." "Y- Yeah." "But Allmight has his eye on you doesn't he?" Midoryia was shocked at this question and just the tiniest bit mad. "Either way I don't care I'm going to beat you." Kirishima tried to break the tension by telling them both to calm down but todoroki was already walking away when midoryia of all people spoke up. "Todoroki I don't know what you you're thinking, saying you'll beat me and all that other nonsense but of course you're better than me, you're more capable than most people I know. But I'll be going for the top with all I've got." Midoryia walked closer to todoroki getting straight in his face to hit a nerve. "And if you're not careful you'll end up losing to me."
It felt like a fight was gonna break loose if nothing broke the tension soon. And luckily it did with Midnight speaking over the intercom for all classes to come to the field.

Now the school festival isn't just for the hero course it's for everyone which means even the other courses such as the business course, general studies, and even the support course. Which means there are a lot of students participating in the sports festival. "Now if the author is done explaining what was supposed to be my job we would like to get things started with the representative of Class 1-A to come up to the stage. Midoryia was about to walk up until midnight broke his cool moment and a bit of his pride by calling up bakugo of all people. Bakugo walked up to the stage looked at everyone he was going up against and with a straight face said, "I pledge... that I'll be number one you all are nothing but stepping stones to my success." And with that one simple sentence Bakugo managed to either surprise others with his confidence or to piss off all of his competition with the exception of very few. "Thank you for you're words Bakugo you may head back down into the stands, now the way the sports festival will work it by having a random event pop up on the big screen and whatever is selected will be the first round and with enough said let's see what will be the the first event.
With that said a numerous amount of events where being cycled through the screen until it came to a sudden stop on an event called.

Obstacle Race

Midoryia was relieved that it was a normal obstacle race, where he would have to deal with whatever the school came up with, and no doubt his other peers.
'This is not gonna end well at all'
Everyone got lined up for the race and a small corridor from that point on it would be present Mic which may or may not be a bad thing thing
"On your Mark."
"Get set."
"GOOOOOOOO!"
Everyone starting running at once or should I say tried since everyone got stuck trying to get out at the same time. 'Reeaal ironic that we ourselves would be the first obstacle.' Deku managed to peek through and see that todoroki had already slipped through and was about to freeze the ground probably to keep everyone in one place midoryia took notice and crawled under everyone to get out into the open to avoid getting caught up with the other people in the ice while others did something else to avoid it, like Kirishima deciding to take the ice head on in his hardened state, momo sticking a pole in the ground to go above the ice while bakugo just decided to blast his way through. 'Didn't expect them all to make it through.' Todoroki thought before focusing again on the race. "Time for the first obstacle!!" As president mic said that a giant robot that was the same as one for the entrance exam but Todoroki made quick work of it by freezing one half of the giant running under as calm and collected as he ever was. Kirishima also tried running under it until Todoroki spoke up. "I wouldn't do that if I where you I froze it while it was unstable." And soon as he said that the surface level of the machine broke and fell over on Kirishima everyone was worried until they heard banging from the inside and Kirishima popped out like one of those mini games you'd see at at amusement park. "If that was anyone else they probably would've died." Until they realized that the robot actually did fall on someone else who looked as if he had a reskin of Kirishima's quirk. "IM ALIIIVE!!!" Tetsu yelled as he looked over to his doppelgänger a bit depressed that he wasn't as unique as he had thought. While that was happening sero and Tokoyami had already gone up and around the robot catching up with todoroki. Back at the robot midoryia had just gotten around and had found himself ambushed by a bunch of 3 pointers he quickly charged 5 percent into his arm and destroyed the robots spotting a piece that could probably come in handy.
Back again with Todoroki he had already made it to the next obstacle titled "The fall." Some students made it pass this course easy like once again Todoroki who just rode along the rode while freezing it and surprisingly a girl with pink hair in the support course with some sort of support item that reminded him of something. And while some got through easy others got the short end of the stick like Iida who had to balance himself while boosting himself with his quirk, and midoryia who was barely hanging on with this scrap metal he picked up tied around his waist.
And finally Todoroki approached the final obstacle the minefield unlike the others he couldn't just breeze through he had to slow down and watch his step. He was so focused that he almost didn't notice bakugo flying up to him almost hitting him with an explosion. "YOU DECLARED WAR TO THE WRONG PERSON!" They had then started fighting each other while progressing forward meanwhile midoryia and only just gotten to the minefield he started to panic thinking about how he was gonna be able to pass both bakugo and Todoroki and get first place, until he saw someone step in the wrong spot and then get thrown a good distance with only one of those mines. Midoryia took notice of this and took the scrap metal off his back to start digging up some of the mines around him, people gave him crazy looks but he just ignored them.
"Todoroki and Bakugo are both almost done with the last obstacle who do you think will be the winner of the obstacle race eraser head?" To which he was answered with silence had his  attention brought back to the race when he heard a loud explosion. "Woah what happened the mines weren't supposed to be that strong!?" The everyone look towards the explosion to see midoryia flying out quickly gaining the lead. "DEKUUU WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!" Yelled Bakugo as he flew to try and catch up with midoryia with Todoroki making an ice path for himself not caring if other people used it to catch up. Midoryia was loosing height and speed he almost lost the lead if not for his quick thinking using both Bakugo and Todoroki as a ledge to slam down the piece of metal on a mine that was right in front of him blasting himself forward while stunning Bakugo and Todoroki both.
Midoryia was finally out of the last obstacle and now running for the goal with Bakugo and todoroki got on his tail and with one last corridor to run through Midoryia had emerged victorious. "AND THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS IZUKU MIDORYIA HAS WON FIRST PLACE IN THE OBSTACLE COURSE!!!" The entire crowd was cheering for midoryia but he was only searching one person, and that was all might who kept his eyes on him the entire time. He had rubbed the tears that had formed in his eyes and smiled. Uraraka had ran up to Midoryia to congratulate him. "Wow deku I cant believe you won first place I'm so jealous." "It is quite the feat midoryia." Midoryia looked over and saw momo who was congratulating him too. "Thanks yaoyorozu but if I may ask where's the top half of you're gym uniform?" "Oh the perv latched on to it and wouldn't get off so I had to ditch it." "Oh man that sounds terrible." They had a quick laugh over the joke before turning their attention to midnight who had something to say.

Congratulations to the to the top 41 students that made it because it will be those students that are qualified for the next event. And too all the others I wish you luck in next years sports festival, with that said let's decide what the next event will be. The screen once again started shuffling throughout all the different events and landed on one called the "cavalry battle" "for the second event will be the Calvert battle I'll be sure to explain it after a 10 minute break for the students!"
