Olivia's POV

"Uh huh... imagine being kid free and checking for them damn kids every two minutes on a cell phone!" Jayda yells as I scroll through Instagram and drool over pictures and videos of my kids and husband, seemingly, having an amazing time at the school dance.

"But they're so cute," I say and she sighs. "I'm obsessed with them."

"Clearly! Next time, I'm bringing Skyler to the girl's trip. She turns up way better than her mama!"

I nudge her and roll my eyes as I like another picture on Omari's Instagram.

"Wait, is that Spencer with J.R.?" I ask, knowing Jayda wouldn't know the answer to that question.

I stare closer to the background of Omari's selfie and focus on the two of them smiling and talking in the background.

I swipe left and now see Summer standing between the two of them with a huge grin on her face as they converse.

"J.R.? Summer's thug bae?" Jayda questions and I can't help but to chuckle.

"He's definitely a little rough around the edges. But I doubt he's a thug." I mumble as I try to convince myself.

"Let me see," she says as she blows the photo up and stares at it for a minute. "Can't be him! Spencer doesn't have his hands wrapped around his neck!"

I laugh loudly. "Maybe Spencer is trying like I asked him to."

"Hmmm... possibly." She mumbles. "After all, Spencer is my only client that actually listens."

"Wait, is Damon still giving you trouble?" I ask as I remember previous conversations we had.

"Yes, it's like do you want to make a million or ten million? Because that's the difference between doing it my way and doing it his way." She vents.

"You know guys and their egos," I mumble.

"Yeah, but with Spencer, it's easy." She counters. "And that's why he makes money in his sleep, as a retired athlete!"

"C'mon Jay. You know my husband is hardheaded too. You just have to make Damon trust your decisions like you did with Spencer."

"It got easier with Spencer. It's the opposite with Damon."

"He's an athlete on the decline of his career. It's all about him accepting and embracing change. And if anyone can help him, it's you." I promise her and she smiles.

"See this is why I need you in my life."

I hug her tightly because I've missed her crazy ass.

"Right! Remind me again why it's been so long?" I ask seriously without waiting for a response. "New rule! We don't go more than a month without seeing each other."

"That's a bet!" She agrees as the car stops and we see Brittany standing out front of the hotel with a few of her friends.

"Is that a bottle of Hennessy in their hands?" I question and Jayda laughs.

"See, this is why we needed to be here!"

I crack up as we climb out of the car and run into Brittany's arms.

Brittany was originally Kia's roommate before she left freshman year. The following years she lived off campus with all of us. Now, she lives in Texas with her fiancée and two year old daughter. And although, we don't see each other often, it feels so good to see her.

"Let's go! We have dinner reservations in twenty minutes." She says after introducing us to everyone. "Here's the itinerary. And the only rule this weekend is that we can't say the word 'n-o' or you have to take a shot!"
