wrote another short story to Touch of Dawn (Yes, i know, not a huge surprise since you see this notification lol).

We will post it weekly, as usual, and this one is a very long Two-Shot. Means: 2 Chapters are waiting for you. This is the first one, the next comes in seven to eight (7-8 since its holidays) days for you to enjoy.

A Bouquet Is Never Without Thorns - Part 1

Could there be a greater fortune than to watch his husband and lovely omega play with their two most wonderful and cute daughters? Certainly, the money in his bank account was also very nice, it made it possible to present so many presents to his most beloved people, but Brett would trade it in a heartbeat if it meant they would smile at him for the rest of his life.

Ju and Mei were playing like the sisters they were and with Eddy, his sadly not soft and squishy omega was laying on the stomach of the floor and playing with their barbies. It was adorable.

Ju was 6 now and Mei 5 - three years passed since the death of Hoang. They were both utterly adorable and sadly one left for school half a day already. Mei cried when her sister left for school the first day and Brett's eyes were also very wet. But she came home and they cuddled the rest of the day on the master bed away.

Brett looked at the babysitter who was sitting right beside Eddy, smiling at the two girls. He was a wonderful playmate and the right choice. Belle recommended him and the pair was very happy with him being here. He took a lot of the grunt work and left almost all the fun to the dads. Brett was softly touring again, meaning he went back to the orchestra and flew around Australia once a month to a different city for a concert. Thankfully it worked out quite well because most of the time he came home before the girls were up in the morning, meaning he had no sleep but a happy family. They scheduled off-work days for Eddy then so the girls had at least one parent around them all the time. But this upcoming Saturday was different. Eddy as well as Brett had to work.

Brett rustled with his newspaper and turned the page, more watching his happy family than actually reading. Danny - Daniel's cute nickname from the kids - looked up and saw the alpha of the house looking at them with a very fond expression. He took a deep breath and smiled at Brett, "Heyho, boss, a friend of mine wants to come over on Saturday. Eddy and you are both away so I thought it would be good for the two girls to meet him. He is an omega, so don't worry."

Omegas were not a safe topic either but the alpha hated seeing other alphas around his girls. Muttering about something 'stealing his cute babies', 'dirty cradle robbers' or 'disgusting alpha-sickos's' when they as much as smiled at the cute girls; so nope, no alpha's were allowed. But omega's should be fine?

Danny smiled at Brett, knowing fully well that both girls were a lot more rambunctious when both parents were gone since they needed a lot more attention and he needed those extra pairs of hands. Hopefully he wouldn't deny his request.
