Part 2

It was rare that Brett was up earlier than Eddy but it happened. And today was one of those days. Eddy was still slumbering while Brett made calls down in the living room and prepared everything. The only thing Eddy and Brett needed to do was pack their bags and off they were.

Eddy had rolled himself up in the blankets to have all of his comfort. He was one with the blanket burrito now, retrieving him from that state may be a hard task. If anyone could do it, Brett could.

The alpha just hung up after the last preparation was done and got up. He was only dressed in boxer shorts since he didn't need more than that. Not in his own home at least. He went upstairs to see his lovely burrito. Maybe he should just pack their stuff and then carry Eddy out? Sounded like a good plan. So Brett did exactly that; packing their bags as silently as possible and bringing them down to the front door. He came back and kissed Eddy to check if the omega was awake or not. Eddy was dead asleep, he was too sad to be awake but he was happy to be with Brett. Seeing as he wasn't really that aware Brett was there though, he was dead asleep.

The alpha grabbed another blanket and put it on Eddy before lifting the omega up. He brought them down and it didn't take long for the driver to arrive. As instructed, he opened the door and took the luggage when Brett carried his still naked but thoroughly wrapped omega-burrito out of the house and shuffled them into the car. Thankfully it was an electric car so it was silent throughout the ride. But Eddy could wake up at some point so Brett hoped it would still take a while. If possible until they reached their destination or were in the plane. Hopefully someone would give Eddy a pair of clothes before the plane. He would kind of need those.
Luckily for Brett, Eddy slept through the whole car ride but started to stir awake when the car began to stop.

Brett hurried with his baggage, he meant omega, into the plane and seated Eddy immediately. Since it was a private plane, Eddy didn't need clothes. Only if he wanted. The plane belonged to the son of a friend of his father so it cost him a pretty penny to book with the pilot. But still, he got it on a short notice and that was the important part.

Gently he put the mickey mouse-esque hearing safety headphones on Eddy and then himself before telling the pilot to take off. He was amazed that his spouse slept through all of this. Eddy seemed to be quite sleepy. Or it was because he slept so horribly little the past weeks due to the stress.

But alas, Eddy kept sleeping on until they reached their destination. The alpha placed Eddy under an umbrella on a lounger outside.

The soft lull of waves stirred the omega awake. His eyes blinked open lazily despite feeling heavy. It was bright, too bright. His eyes squinted as he looked around. Where was he? And was he outside? Eddy blinked owlishly a few times before they opened wide. Where the hell was he?!

Brett was right beside him, wearing swim trunks and a pair of sunglasses. He turned his head as his omega rose from sleep and grinned at him.

"Good morning sleepy head. Did you sleep well?"

Eddy all but jumped when he heard Brett's voice, "Holy fuck, did you drug me!? Or is this a dream?"

Eddy's eyes adjusted to the light, well enough where he could see they were on the beach. What witchery did Brett do?

"I neither drugged you nor is it a dream. I told you yesterday that it would be a nice idea to be away from everything - you said yes, remember? The kids are with their grandma's and you slept so soundly and peacefully that I didn't want to wake you up. You are on a private Island, just you and me and roughly ten other people who are with the company are here. They will cook and clean for us and mostly be out of sight. Enjoy your vacation love. And yes, I talked to your supervisor and took the liberty of taking vacation time for you. Israel will be in charge of your team in the meantime."
