They did not go to karaoke, because seokjin claimed that he would be the best anyways and jeongguk scolded him because karaoke is not a competition. But that was enough to make taehyung scared of the karaoke bar.

So they did not go.

Instead they went to the mall, eating in a fast food restaurant and eventually ending up in one of the many clothing stores.

Seokjin currently was in the changing room, trying on a weird looking piece of clothing that nobody could really identify. Apparently it was a traditional dress that was worn a long long time ago, but that was only the information that they got from its price tag.

Jimin kind of got lost in the store and jeongguk just hoped that he would find them at the changing rooms, because if not they would have a problem. And he was not planning on losing his best friend on his birthday.

"I'm sorry that you have to sit inside of a store this questionable on your birthday without even being interested in it." Taehyung muttered next to him, looking down to his feet. The mermaid actually felt sorry.

He was wearing a pair of loose jeans today and an oversized hoodie with a leather jacket, sponsored by jeongguk's wardrobe. It kind of made him look bigger than he actually was, even though he had at least the same height as jeongguk and seokjin. Not the muscles (yet), but he was quite tall. Without his tail of course.

His blue hair putting the cherry on top.

"It's fine." Jeongguk replied. "I really don't mind it, I enjoy spending time with my friends." He smiled and the mermaid smiled back, relieved that it didn't get too boring for the angel.

And boring it didn't get, definitely not. The chaos started with jimin finally coming back.

But blonde haired didn't arrive alone. With him he carried a shit ton of clothes that looked like a clown's costume combined with a stripper's.

"Guys!" He started, already looking way too excited. And right at that moment seokjin exited the changing room in his traditional dress whatever thingy.

It looked horrible, but obviously we can't tell him.

"Guys." Jimin repeated. "I have thought of something." He left a short break between his next sentence. "Since taehyung is a mermaid, we should definitely put him into some fishnets. I mean, how could we not? We basically have to!"

While jimin looked like an overexcited puppy, jeongguk could only stare at him in disbelief.

"This is the absolute worst thing that could happen, I take everything back, I hate you guys." He mumbled.

"This is the absolute best thing that could have happened!" Seokjin yelled.

"Let's go, taehyung!"

And somehow taehyung looked just as excited as the two crackhead in weird clothing that were already picking the best pieces from jimin's pile.

If he only knew what was coming next.

Poor taehyung, if only he knew the struggle of fishnets. You can decide, what should he wear on top of the fishnets?
