Chapter 6

Deku just got back to his and Drive-By's shared apartment after a very long and very frustrating delivery, he was tasked to deliver some replacement wheels for a client in the local area, there was just one problem with this delivery.

It was to a bot named Prowl.

There were three bots that went by Prowl in the city.

When he finally found the correct Prowl he was just ready to call it a day, but it turns out that the Prowl he was delivering to was also currently in the mists of renaming himself to Dent.

DENT!

Deku naturally asked why name himself Dent of all things but he responded with 'All the best names are taken', whatever the heck that meant.

"I'm home!" He yelled out to his sister as he made his way to the T.V., he suspected she would be here considering that it was her day off. He honestly loved watching her do her job as a bouncer because it was always fascinating and hilarious.

He was pretty sure it would be a funny sight to anyone seeing a fembot through someone twice her size on occasion across the bar and out the doors in a single toss.

"Deku! Get in here for a sec!" She yelled from her room.

"Frag off!" He yelled back, trying to watch his show.

"Get in here Bootleg or I'm gonna tell Minerva about the time I changed your green to pink and show her the photos!"

After hearing that he groaned, standing up and trudging his way to his sister's room. Upon reaching her room he deliberated to knock but ended up kicking it open, "The frag do you want?"

"Sing and play this," Was all she said as she handed him the lyrics, notes and guitar.

"…Frag off."

"Deku."

"Fiiiine," He groaned, before looking at the lyrics and smirked at his twin, "Finally finishing this song? I would have thought you would have wanted to do it?"

"Well…" Drive-By trailed off for a second and looked to the side, she was clearly hesitant on this and he knew why.

She was scared of messing this song up if she sang.

"…You have the better voice anyway," She continued before sitting down at the computer ready to hit play and record, "Now do your best."

"When don't I," He said as he got ready to play.

Izuku smiled as he recalled the memory form times long past, a new year brings a new start for everyone, school was back in session and Kyouka's dad was still experiencing the new year's hangover, Despite being on Earth for a short period of time Deku was having a blast with things he either didn't fully understand or had some similarities to ones back on Cybertron.

The concept of Christmas was something Izuku caught onto rather quickly, when the tradition and what it meant was explained to him he quietly found it rather similar to a holiday on Cybertron called 'AllSpark day' where they celebrated the creation of the Thirteen Primes.

Though he failed to see how a fat man in red and his sleigh had anything to do with this holiday.

He enjoyed his first Christmas with his new family, he received gifts from everyone that ranged from notebooks to a human sized version of his sword in his robot mode, though everyone but Momo, who was clutching her sides laughing, questioned why he looked at a vintage Leader-1 toy with a look of utter disdain and hatred from the gift he received from said ravenette.
