~Katya's POV~
A huff left my lips as I entered yoga class again the next day, not very surprised to find that Saul—my partner in class for the time being—was already here and was sitting beside my yoga mat. I walked over and gave him a smile as I sat down, curling my legs up beneath me.
"Hi." I said to Saul in a friendly voice, brushing a strand of my fiery hair out of my face to glance over at him. He smiled back, looking much like a giant, friendly teddy bear. "Was beginning to think you weren't going to be here today." He told me, relief audible in his voice. I sent him a sheepish smile and shrugged one shoulder. "Sorry, I got a little held up in English. I managed to accidentally spill all my stuff on the floor like an idiot, so I got here a bit later than normal." I explained, but he just smiled softly and gave me a reassuring wave of his hand to show that he didn't think it was a big deal.
The two of us talked for a while longer before Ms. Massey came in and everyone immediately shut their mouths, knowing the time for talking had come to an end. We waited for a while as she kicked off her shoes and then glanced out at all of us, raising her dark, untrimmed eyebrows. "Well?" She said expectantly. "You know what to do. Get going already!" She urged us with a wave of her hand.
Saul and I began to do yoga, most of the time during which I had to stop to assist him with his form or keeping his balance because, as it turned out, he was bad at both of those things. I smiled in amusement as I glanced over at him, watching as he wobbled on one leg and attempted to balance himself. He was seeming more and more like a giant teddy bear the more I got to know him, and it was almost funny how his large, muscular appearance was the exact opposite of his personality.
Luckily, it seemed that he began to get the hang of it a little better it seemed, so I didn't pay much attention to him after I had showed him a better way to keep his form and his balance. Everything was going well for a while, up until Saul lost his balance again, tumbling into Onyx's towering frame just behind us.
Onyx turned around, a scowl of annoyance on his face as he looked at Saul's poor stun-locked face. The poor guy looked like he was about to piss himself, even going so far as to bow in apology to Onyx. "Fucking watch it, asshole." Onyx snapped at Saul, causing me to frown deeply as I rose to my feet, not liking the fact that he was being an asshole just because Saul accidentally bumped into him.
I slipped around Saul, stepping between the two men, and crossed my arms over my chest as I glared up at Onyx's handsome yet angry face. "You don't have to be a dick just because you got bumped a little." I said in Saul's defense, our gazes meeting when he flicked his irritated eyes down to mine. His jaw clenched and he scoffed, taking a step closer to me. "I thought you knew by now that I'm an asshole no matter what, kitty." He responded, a mean tone to his low, gravelly voice. My chest burned with irritation as I scoffed, watching the way his full lips spread into a sly smirk. "What?" He chuckled. "Don't like it when I'm mean to your friend?" He taunted, cocking up a brow.
With a roll of my eyes, I inhaled deeply and glanced over at Saul, who gave me an apologetic look. "Shut up, Onyx." I grumbled, shooting him an annoyed glare before I pulled Saul back over to the mat that he and I sat together at.
Thankfully, Onyx didn't try to stop me, and Saul and I went back to doing yoga together.

"Come on!" Saki tugged me out of the front doors of the university after we had both finished our classes, her small hand grasping my wrist. I followed after her, my hair flowing behind me when a gust of wind blew through.
"Do we have to go to Onyx's house?" I moaned in complaint, trudging behind her to her car. She giggled and glanced at me over her shoulder, pressing a button on her keys to unlock the car for us to get in. "You really hate him that much, Kat?" She teased, grinning widely. A huff left my lips and I rolled my eyes, giving her a flat look. "More like he makes me want to either rip his hair out or my own." I grumbled.
She just laughed and the two of us hopped into her car, my eyes wandering out the window as I watched the world blur by as we drove to Onyx's place. It seemed that his house was the place that everyone always got together out, though I suppose it made sense seeing as his house was big enough, and it was a pretty nice one at that.
The drive to Onyx's house was pretty short, and I knew I was being dramatic when I sulked my way inside with her but I didn't care. "You're such a drama queen, Kat." Saki laughed, playfully bumping my hip with hers before she shut the front door behind us after we entered. I shrugged, glancing into the living room only to find that Onyx was the only one there, so I assumed that nobody else had arrived yet aside from Saki and I.
"I'll be right back. I need to use the bathroom." Saki told me, leaving me to gape after her in disbelief as she hurried down the hall, which left me alone in the living room with just Onyx. I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest, my tan colored sneakers tapping against the hardwood floors.
"Can you stop fucking tapping your feet like that?" Onyx snapped at me after not even twenty seconds, causing my eyes to flick over to him. "Just...sit down or something." He demanded, impatience laced within his voice. I pursed my lips and wandered over, fixing my white sweatpants before I made a point to turn towards him, plopping down at the very end of the couch with one foot on the floor still . Then, just because I knew it pissed him off, I met his gaze as I cocked up a brow and began to tap one foot against the floor again. It managed to get the reaction out of him that I wanted, his pretty hazel eyes blazing with irritation as he clenched a large hand into a tight, angry fist and glared at me.
My lips twitched up into a mocking smile, incredibly smug with how pissed I made him. "What?" I taunted, unable to stop myself from smiling. "Does this bother you?" I asked, causing him to scoff as he glared at me. "You bother me." He growled, my heart skipping in surprise when his large frame quickly moved down to grab me by the front of my tan colored shirt. A squeak of surprise left me and I stared up at him with wide eyes, leaning back against the edge of the couch nervously. "H-Hey!" I exclaimed, the fabric of my shirt bunching up so the word feelings that was written across the front of my shirt became jumbled within his grip. "Let me go!" I snapped at him.
Onyx leaned closer, a smirk growing on his lips as he seemed to sense that I was a little flustered from him being this close. "Why would I do that?" He chuckled, a taunting tone within his low voice. It was clear then that he was well aware of how flustered and nervous I was, and even more clear that he felt good about the fact that he'd caused it.
I steeled myself, glaring up into his eyes as I grabbed his wrist. His gaze flicked down to where I touched him, lingering there before he met my eyes again, raising a brow. "Get off me, Onyx, before I make you." I told him in a murmur, and I knew he took that as a challenge because his eyes darkened as he peered down at me. "Then make me, kitty. I'd like to see you try." He dared me, and so I did as I said I would.
Before he could do anything to stop me I had jutted my knee forward, roughly kneeing him in the crotch, and his handsome face immediately crumpled with pain. "Fuck! What the hell?" He cursed, his hold immediately falling to grasp his junk as he pulled away from me, cringing in pain. The look that he gave me was one that meant he either wanted to throttle me or cry, though I was pretty sure it was the former rather than the latter. "A man's dick is off limits, kitty." He scowled at me, but I just gave him a bitchy smile, fixing my shirt.
"Well, you should've thought of that before you decided to grab me like that, huh?" I retorted.
