Marinette excused herself early, which her parents didn't question after a night like this.
She raced upstairs, not stopping to talk to the Kwamis swarming out from various corners of the room. "Sorry, not yet, I'll come across and chat more later!"

Then she tripped over her slippers the kwamis had left in an unusual spot on the floor to lay comfortably in while they watched TV.

"But how can he do it, guardian?" Wayzz worried. "Master always said no one could use the miraculous together because everyone has a wish they want fulfilled! It's too risky!"

Marinette looked at Wayzz and the others briefly as she stood carefully, suddenly serious. "That's true, isn't it? Why would Cat risk it? I could just have rested Tikki and re-transformed if it came to it. Why risk the whole world?! Oh, Tikki, we need to hurry!"

She ran out onto the roof, already searching the scenery for Mister Noir.

"There!" Tikki squeaked, pointing her whole little arm to Notre Dame.

And before she'd even seen him for herself, Marinette leapt off the roof with a "spots on!!" and went to the cathedral.

Adrien cuddled little Remi Lahiffe for long spells. She was so good with him, it was a relief for a slightly fizzled Ayla.

"She won't sleep the night yet--"

"That's very normal. She's still so little!" Mylène told Alya.

"Yeah? Well, when will it be normal to sleep again? I'm so Tired!"

"I told you, I'll do some late night feeds if you need me to, Alya. I don't mind getting up with her," Nino was saying. He hadn't left Adrien's side all night. Adrien was having strange feelings of being fathered by his best friend, and he wasn't entirely hating it.

Little Daxten Bruel toddled up to Adrien again, this time with his chubby fist full of Plagg.

"He-elp!" Plagg squawked.

Adrien laughed and thanked Daxten just as cheerily as he always did, holding out his hand to take Plagg. Daxten burbled as he gave Plagg up, thrilled at his prowess to impress, and wobbled off to find another treasure.

"Ugh, thank you, Adrien. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to having all these dangerous little humans everywhere all the time!"

"They're not so bad, Plagg," Adrien replied, more to Remi than to Plagg.

Plagg rested himself on Adrien's head to look at her for himself. "Well, this one is quiet (for now) and can't sneak up on me (yet), so she's not so bad (for tonight)." Though Plagg saw the look on Adrien's face and knew how important this really was.

Plagg scanned the room, and saw how often everyone looked at Adrien. And they weren't worried for him. They were smiling, genuinely, kindly, sometimes sadly at him. They seemed to feel very like how he and perhaps Nino felt for his miraculous holder.

Marinette's face was something else entirely. Whenever Adrien was holding Nino's baby, she seemed to try to not watch Adrien at all.

Plagg found the whole thing nauseating, which of course made him hungry. He slipped down to the large pile of odd treats and things on the coffee table in front of Adrien. "Mind if I help myself to these... warm, slightly squished, possibly chewed, rubbed on the carpet, and otherwise amazingly perfect collection of edibles you've collected here?!"

Adrien and everyone who heard laughed. "Go ahead, Plagg. That's all the stuff Daxten has been bringing me."

"Oh!" Plagg's eyes glittered appreciatively, "Oh! We may need some of these little humans after all!"

And everyone laughed.
