Mister Noir and Ladybug reached the top of Montparnasse Tower just as Bunnyx popped through her burrow to meet them there. She looked harassed and grim, but smiled when she saw them. "Ugh, what a loooong night this has been, Minibug. Please tell me there aren't any more bits to clean up?"

"Nothing at all," Ladybug breathed with relief. "Not once you bring my Kitty back."

Bunnyx and Mister Noir smirked at each other.

Bunnyx turned and swiped the face of her burrow till it faced a rosy scene full of people.

Mister Noir put his arm out in front of Ladybug and made her step back. "Stay well back, M'lady. I'd hate for you to spy something you shouldn't."

And Ladybug did.

Bunnyx stepped in, and a cheer sounded from the happy disk. Ladybug heard Cat call, "Plagg, claws out!" and a group of people laugh and whoop. She saw her Cat Noir approach the disk, holding a baby with a full mop of hair. He kissed her forehead and handed her to a burly man who kept his face turned so Ladybug couldn't see him clearly.

Bunnyx and Kitten Noir stepped into Ladybug's present and Bunnyx hugged him. She said something into his ear and pat his head as he left. Cat looked like he was walking on clouds. He spotted Ladybug and Mister Noir and walked up to them.

"M'lady, I'm so glad to see you're all right. Was it much trouble?"

"Well," Ladybug thought about the long, strange night she'd had, "I'm not sure 'trouble' is how I'd describe it. But don't worry, you had it covered." And she and Cat looked up at Mister Noir.

Mister Noir lay a hand on Cat's slim shoulder and gave him his signature smirk and cool eyes. Cat grinned, feeling a warm, heady pride as he looked at his future self.

"Congratulations," Cat gasped with a thrill. "You're so lucky!"

Mister Noir's sharp face sparkled in the dark, and he scooped up his young self in a spinning, playful catch with a raucous laugh.

"No, you're lucky!"

And they argued briefly about who was luckier, making Ladybug put her face in her palm.

Mister Noir put Cat down, and divided Tikki from Plagg.

"Why did you keep the Miraculous joined all night, Mister Noir?" Ladybug asked. "Weren't you concerned the you'd be tempted to use them to make a wish?"

Kitten Noir looked at his older self, stunned at the idea.

Cat Noir smiled. "I told you, I remember it went fine. Maybe knowing it could be done was enough."

"Bye Cat Noir, sorry I didn't get to see you much this evening!" Tikki chirped pleasantly. "Take care, past Tikki, take care of my Ladybug for me! See you soon, Ladybug!"

And Ladybug giggled and hugged the little Kwami to her cheek before she flitted through the circle in the night sky.

Cat Noir and Bunnyx stepped through the door. Before Bunnyx closed it, Cat Noir's claws were in, revealing him in his underwear facing the crowd of people, making them holler loudly in protest. But he shouted, "I'm gonna be a dad!" even louder and the groans turned to wild cheers and he was swallowed in hugs before the scene was lost to sight.

Ladybug's face was red and mortified. "What did he say?" She genuinely hadn't heard clearly over the sound of her second-hand embarrassment.

Cat's face was pink and thrilled.

"This. Was. The. Best night of my life!!"
