After a mostly sleepless night, George left to go to Karl's, and Tommy arrived back at the apartment with Sapnap in tow.

They spent most of the day playing video games and eating pizza, and then spent most of the night talking about how things had changed so much since the first time they had met in college.

Dream had been a wreck back then, a person he didn't even recognize. And now he was surrounded by so much light and happiness, it felt surreal to him every single time he thought about it. The mere fact that George had agreed to marry him felt surreal; he would always feel like the luckiest man on the face of the earth.

As he went to sleep that night, Dream's stomach was a jumbled mess of nerves. Sapnap was feeling more or less the exact same way, even going so far as to ask Dream, "you sure you don't want me to come cuddle with you, Dream?"

Dream had scoffed and tossed a pillow at him, but Sapnap only grinned over at him as he said, "last chance, we only have one more night of freedom."

"You're an idiot," Dream had responded, and Sapnap laughed as the blonde retreated to the safety of his bedroom.

It had felt strange sleeping in his bed without George, and he realized as he laid down that it was the only night he had spent without George by his side since they had officially moved in together and started dating. He hoped it would be the only night he would spend alone, he missed the familiar warmth of the brunette and being able to wrap him up in his arms.

It took longer than normal, but eventually Dream drifted off to sleep. That night, he dreamed of George; of pretty brown eyes and soft spoken words, of gentle touches and light kisses. And when he woke up the next morning, all of the nerves from the night before were replaced with feelings that he could only describe as pure joy and happiness.

He hadn't felt those things often in his life, but every time he had felt it, he could always trace it back to George.

When Tommy came barging into his room, Dream had already showered and pulled on clean clothes. He was just rubbing a towel through his hair in an attempt to dry it when the door flew open, and Tommy came rushing into the room already looking chaotic and out of sorts.

"It's wedding day, big man!" his voice was too loud for the early hour of the morning, and Dream fought a smile as he shook his head in response.

"How are we feeling?" Tommy asked.

Dream smiled, draping the towel over the back of the desk chair as he answered, "I feel really good. I can't wait to marry George."

Tommy gagged in response before quietly muttering, "you two are so gross."

Dream rolled his eyes despite the way he was laughing, and then Tommy was moving further into the room, his hands resting on Dream's shoulders as he said, "let's do this, Dream."

Dream straightened his bow tie, his eyes scanning over the black tuxedo as he looked at himself in the full length mirror. Sapnap appeared beside him, grinning as their eyes met in the reflection.

"We look good," Sapnap commented, "I mean, I look better but you don't look too bad."

Dream elbowed him gently and Sapnap laughed.

They were wearing matching tuxedos, both black and sleek with bow ties. George and Karl had opted to wear white tuxedos, and they were just a couple of rooms away getting ready. Dream had never really seen George dressed up before, and he couldn't wait to see him making his way down the aisle. He was sure the memory would replay over and over in his mind for many days to follow.
