This is the background story of how she was set on her path to become The Flame Wolf. It's all important to the plot so read ahead my poptarts :)
Also, I know it has a lot of time shifts, but bear with me please.
On to the story....
{[Editing-3/1/16]}
I have decided to change up the prologue a bit. I know I haven't been on that much, but thank you guys so much for supporting me! I really appreciate it, so please, continue with me until the end. :)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Light fluttered down softly through the branches of the crowded trees, casting shapes upon the ground that moved with every step. It was lightly breezy as leaves flew up from their resting place to find another.
If one were to listen closely, one could hear the quiet laughter of a little girl tinkling in the wind. An interruption to the quiet atmosphere, but peaceful nonetheless.
She raced through the forest, leaves catching in her long chocolate brown hair as the child ran as fast as she could. She had on black baggy shorts, a white, lacy short-sleeved hoodie, no shoes, all of which were completely covered in mud. Her breaths were heavy as her bright blue eyes looked around wildly, looking for a place to hide. Leaves crackled and crunched way behind her, motivating the little girl to hurry and get away.
A flash of blue came from the corner of her eye and the little girl had barely any time to change her direction before she was tackled to the ground.
"Come on! Let's go this way! He'll never find us over here!"
The blur was a girl with blue hair, and she started to drag the other little girl farther into the trees. The girl with blue hair was wearing a muddied white sundress along with no shoes as well. Her eyes were another story; they were colored like a luminous rainbow that glinted different colors depending on how you looked at such eyes. She looked like a character out of a fairy tale.
The little girls came across a huge tree with mighty branches. They looked at each and giggled mischievously and darted around the humongous roots.
A little ways away, there was another kid wandering the forest, though he looked to be much older than the two girls. He had dark brown hair and dark eyes, the older brother of the little girl with brown hair. A pair of light blue shorts was held up by a rope tied through the belt loops. He also wore a black tank top covered with an unbuttoned light blue shirt and muddy sneakers.
The boy had a stride in his walk as he wandered along through the forest. A grin was on his face as he lifted his hands to cup his mouth.
"I'm going to catch you eventually Alexis!" He called out to his sister.
The boy heard leaves crunch even more from the left. In the distance, he could see a head of blue and brown hair seem to dart away. The boy smirked and stepped onto the grassiest part of the path where there were no leaves. As quick as a flash, he sprinted towards the place he had just seen the blue and brown hair, only to find nothing. The boy will have to be quicker if he wants to catch his sister and her friend.

The two girls were sitting below the tree, just gazing into the wind. It seemed like they already gave up on the game.
"Rennie! I'm hungry..."
The blue haired girl let her head fall onto Alexis's lap with a pout. Alexis giggled and pushed the girl off so that she landed on the ground.
"Then go home and eat, Kat. And stop calling me Rennie! It sounds so uncool!"
"Noooo! I wanna stay here with you."
