Whoop whoop! I'm back! And I've made you guys an extra long chapter to show my appreciation!

Warning, I am a drama queen. I live for drama, heartbreak, and death; I like to write like I'm Shakespeare...I'm addicted, I know.

It feels good to be back, doesn't it Alexis?

Alexis: ...

Uh, Alexis? You there?

Alexis: you...you left me...ITS BEEN TOO DAMN LONG, AUTHOR

I'm sorry! Don't kill me!

Alexis: whatever *rolls eyes dramatically* but if you disappear again, I'll end you

😨 ok...

Onto the story!~

~~~~~~~~~~~
The train just rolled into the station and Edward and I pretty much sprinted off. If we were going to get leads on how to make a Philosopher Stone, we needed to get his book from the library as soon as possible.
As soon as Kat, Alphonse, and Armstrong joined us, two soldiers approached us. One was a woman with short black hair and a beauty mark underneath her left eye. The other was a guy with dirty blonde hair. From their badges, I could tell that the woman was a Second Lieutenant and that the man was only a Sergeant.
"Major Armstrong, we have come here to escort you!"
They both snapped into a salute as soon as the woman called out. Escort us? We don't need any escorts now that we have our automail again. And besides, Kat and I are already the escorts.
"Thank you Second Lieutenant Ross, and you as well, Sergeant Brosh."
Armstrong being quiet is still kinda weird; I'm used to him being loud and saying something about the Armstrong family tree, yadda yadda yadda.
Sergeant Brosh stepped right up to Alphonse. Oh, this can't be good.
"And you must be the Fullmetal Alchemist, it's a pleasure to meet you sir."
I could already see the steam billowing from Ed's ears and both Armstrong and I stepped closer to him to keep him from murdering Brosh.
"Denny Brosh, reporting sir. I can see where you got your nickname! Very dignified!"
"My name is Maria Ross. It's an honor to meet you sir!'
Alphonse didn't say anything pointed over at Ed who already looked ready to explode. Brosh looked over confused.
"Hm? You mean the little guy over there is the Fullmetal Alchemist?"
Both Armstrong and I grabbed Ed before he could launch at the two innocent soldiers who were already begging for forgiveness. I slapped a hand over Edward's mouth before he could start to yell profanities.
"Sheesh Ed, calm down before I have to put you six feet under!"
Almost immediately, Ed stopped squirming and I could feel him tense up. I smirked; I like this intimidation thing I have over him.
"Well my work here is done, I had best head over to Central Headquarters to file my report."
I almost launched myself at Armstrong to give him a hug, but his next words threw me off.
"So I'm leaving all of them in your hands. Good luck Sergeant, Second Lieutenant."
They saluted towards one another while I just glared at all of them.
