Harry and I sat at a small cafe on the corner of two streets and watched tourists and business professionals get to their destination in the many languages we over heard. It was exciting and thrilling to be in such a diverse country with so many languages being spoken and so many different cultures being represented within.
"Could you live in Paris?" I sipped on my coffee that Harry ordered for me in french.
He sighed and took a moment to think before he answered, which he seemed to be doing a lot of lately. "I'm not sure. I think I could. I could live anywhere honestly."
"Would you ever move back to Turner, or Maine in general?"
"There's an exception," he chuckled and I knew the answer before it already came out.
"I could live there again. The woods, beautiful houses, family, it's all there. There's space there unlike New York, London, or Paris."
"I thought you were a city girl, Steele?" he chewed on the top of his straw and I smirked as I realized how well this day had been going. We'd gotten up around ten, toured the Eiffel Tower, and then buzzed around the surrounding streets and shops before having a bite to eat here.
"I am a city girl, but I also like space and fresh air," I sat back in my chair grabbing my phone out to look through my Instagram feed, a habit I had been getting into as I started missing all my friends from back in New York.
"Mmm," he nodded his head and contemplated my answer as he squinted into the sun. "So what else do we have planned today?"
"I don't know. I'm not really sure what else there is in Paris. You've been here though, right?" I looked over at him for a second and then back down at my phone.
Hailey was known for posting several instagram's a day and I scrolled through them all, liking each one of her modeling pictures she posted. Surprisingly, Harry and I were in one and I started laughing when I realized it was of the moment he first placed his hand on my hip and I looked up at him in surprise. The other boy to my right was forgotten as I stared up at Harry wondering where he'd been the past four years and why he wasn't with me. There was rain drops captured running down the windows behind us and the view was so beautiful I almost forgot about the exact moment the picture was taken. I realized then that Harry was talking about something and I completely missed it. "Harry look what Hailey posted of us. Isn't it neat!" I handed him my phone and a smile appeared on his handsome face.
"Ask her to send that to me. You know for promotional purposes for my band and what not," he bit the inside of his cheek as he saw me get ready to swat his arm.
"You're a dick," I scoffed and, in good humor, swatted his arm as he squeaked out an ouch. "I think it's a nice picture."
"It is," he said matter-of-factly.
"By the way I wanted to post a picture I took yesterday night, but I wanted your permission first. I don't know if we're accepting our weird relationship and posting pictures? If that makes any sense or I'm just being an overly dramatic female," I laughed nervously and waited for his response.
"Yeah I don't mind. You could post about anything about us and I wouldn't mind," he smiled. "Let me see," he reached for my phone but I grabbed his hand instead.
"Go look on Instagram in like two seconds," I giggled as he fought for my attention.
"Geesh," he pulled away and tapped on his app with my picture the first one appearing.
It was the picture I took of him sleeping like an angel with the Eiffel Tower in the background. As my caption I put, 'All good things come back around xoxo' and I tagged Harry.
