Fiona and I were having lunch together again in my mail room. She wore a slim white dress that was tight highlighting her smooth stomach and perfect waistline. It was obviously meant for a nice dinner and I asked her assuming that she was meeting someone after work.

"So who is he?" I smirked and sipped the straw of my Starbucks frappuccino she brought me.

Her cheeks blushed and I started giggling, "Are you being bashful?"

"No," she shook her head and flipped her side bangs out of her face. "We're just...we're not supposed to be having relations with other employees." She kept her eyes away from me.

"Oh c'mon!" I sat back in my chair and scoffed. "I've been working here two weeks. Who would I tell? You're literally the only person that ever talks to me much less knows that I exist!"

She looked at me and thought it over for a second."If I tell you, you better cross your heart and hope to die."

"I promise! Ok, I promise I won't say anything!" I smiled giddy with news of office gossip.

"It's the fashion director, Adam," and my face fell. The guy who approached me on the side walk last weekend and practically shoved himself at me.

"How long have you guys been dating?" I squeezed my eyebrows together unintentionally.

"Why? Has he done something that you've seen? Oh, God! Does Lorraine know?!" she panicked and I shook my head trying to calm her. "It's been two months seeing each other. I wouldn't really call it dating. We're just fine dining and the sorts."

"He makes you happy though?" I gave her a small smile. Maybe its better if I don't tell her...

"Mostly in bed," she scrunched her face together and then I started laughing. She peeked one eyelid open and started laughing with me.

"No, it's just... God... I don't want to be that girl..." I struggled for a second and threw back my head.

"What is it?" she looked concerned again and it made me second guess my place in telling her what he did.

"It's really nothing too much. He introduced himself to me when I was getting my friend a cab and then he basically asked me to go have dinner or something with him. I'm sure it was nothing, but...I just wanted to let you know," I looked up at her under my lashes and bit the inside of my cheek. "I'm sorry." I looked down at my hands when I saw the hurt spread on her face.

"No..." she nodded her head. "It's ok."

"No it's not. If I would have known that you two were...I would have said something sooner," I sucked on the straw again. I hated this. I hated being the other girl that ruined someone's relationship. "I am so sorry, Fiona."

"You're not the first girl he's done that to at the office. I'm pretty sure he's had sex with everyone here, even the married ones."

I sunk my shoulders and pursed my smile. I felt sorry for her, but what an ass hole he was. Then again, she was still seeing him even though she knew that information. It dimmed a bit of her character for me.

"You're probably thinking what an idiot I am," she rolled her eyes at herself. I stayed silent and let her talk it through. Maybe she just needed someone to listen to her. "I never thought I would be the girl to sleep my way into the professional world to better my career, but here I am," tears fell from her eyes and I shook my head.

"You're not an idiot, Fiona. I think you're incredibly beautiful and smart. Of course you don't need to sleep with him to supposedly better yourself while he's out lounging around with other women. You're so much more than that." I paused and took in her defeated shoulders and the way her eyes stayed focused on her fingre nails picking at each other. "How about you go out tonight instead with me and my friend Hailey?"
