Chapter 14 pt 2

I wrapped my arms around Cals neck and wrapped my legs around his torso. His hands went to my thighs so he could support me. He walked along and I laid my head down on his shoulder blade. "Babeee" I whined after 15 minutes of him walking. "Yes?" He turned his head back towards me. "Where are we going?" He chuckled before shaking his head and looking at the path ahead. "Oh Delaney, why would I tell you where we're going when I could ignore you with a big romantic surprise and then you could love me forever" I said, making my voice deep to sound like a mans. "We're you mocking me?" I nodded, testing the limits like I always do with Cal. "Yes. Yes I was Calum Thomas Hood" he turned his head and looked at me out the corner of his eye. "Oh. So now you're going to be li- OH WE'RE HERE" He got off topic as we arrived to the end of a trail. He pushed away the tree branches with one hand and opened up another little pathway. At the end of this pathway was a beautiful waterfall. I gasped at the beauty "Calum! It's beautiful!" He sat me down on a blanket he had laid out, "just like you, baby." I rolled my eyes "you are one of the corniest people I know" I lunged at him from where I was sitting, careful of my leg, and wrapped my arms around his torso. Causing us to both topple over laughing. We laid there for a good 10 minutes. With my head lying on his chest and his hand rubbing my back. I could fall asleep just like this. I loved having alone time with Calum and even if it's in silence we're so comfortable and it's not awkward. "I got you something" I sat up and gave him a weird look. "Why? Is it our 1 month 5day 64 second anniversary?" I freaked out. He chuckled and shook his head no. "No. It's just a little gift that wanted to get you. He pulled out Tiffany blue box and I gasped. "Calum, I can't ever accept something from you that's that expensive!" I pushed his hands away softly. "We'll get used to it because you'll have tons of these boxes from me for the rest of our lives." He leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine. He placed the box in my hands and I admired it. My first Tiffany&Co. Box. Every girl dreams of getting her first baby blue box. And it was so perfect I didn't want to mess with the little white bow on top. "Well? Are you gonna open it?" Cal spoke up. I looked at him and giggled before lunging at him like I did before. "I love you so much" I snuggled into him as he laughed and wrapped his arms around me. "And I love this gift so much and I'm so thankful for you and it's absolutely perfect." He laughed again, "what if that gift is really just a paper clip on a tied piece of string?" He joked. "I'd still love it no matter what because it came from you." I sat up and carefully removed the bow. I took the lid off and gasped looking at the beautiful diamond in-crested necklace laying in the box. I looked at the way the silver and diamond anchor glittered in the sunlight. "It absolutely beautiful!" I spoke in a barely audible whisper. "It's so you know I'm your anchor, I'll always be here to hold you know matter how rough a storm could get." He flipped the necklace over to reveal the letters "C.H&D.H". I smiled and ran my fingers over the engravings. I held up my hair as his calloused finger tips hooked the necklace and softly ran over my neck, giving me goosebumps. He softly placed his lips on my neck giving me a soft little kiss. He stood up and pulled me to my feet before wrapping his arms around me in a big hug. It was unlike Calum to give hugs with out starting one or asking for one, but I just hugged back. " I love you so much" I whispered in his chest. "I love you more" he rested his head on top of mine. "I'm hungry." Calum chuckled, "way to ruin the romantic mood" I giggled as he pulled away picking up our stuff and bending down to give me another piggy back ride. I pulled out my phone from my back pocket and pulled up keek. The boys had me logged into there's for when they posted videos. "Hello keek. If you can't tell I'm on Calum's back" I showed the camera Calum who cheesed. "Calum. Knock knock" he groaned "who's there?" He knew if he didn't go along with my jokes I'd argue with him. "Interrupting starfish" he gave a weird look. "Interrupting sta-" I slapped the palm of my hand on his face. Causing me to break out in laughter. One thing I do when I laugh really hard is snort. And Cal is the only one who knew I did that because he was the only one to make me laugh that loud. Yet, here was a video of me snorting from laughing. "OH MY GOD I HATE MYSELF" Calum smirked. "I hate yourself for you" I laughed again. "You're so rude" I giggled as I turned the video off and posted it. We got up to the car and I sat in the seat before putting my brace back on. "What do you want for lunch? My treat" Calum winked. "McDonald's" he chuckled. "Any restaurant in whole Australia and you want fucking McDonald's?" I giggled and nodded, he laughed and drove towards the nearest McDonald's. "What can I get you guys today?" The girl at the cash register asked nicely. "Uh, I'll have 20 mcnuggets, a medium fries and a large coke." Calum ordered a cheese burger meal with onions.
"Ugh" I groaned as I leaned back and rubbed my tummy. "I need to go for a run after all that food" I sighed and looked at my brace. "But I can't." Calum gave me a soft smile "you're beautiful no matter what and once that brace is off I'll go running with you." I smiled and hugged his side. "I love your hair like this" I ran my fingers through the black and blonde quiff. "I love your face like this." He kissed me softly, referring to the no make up look. "Your breath smells like onions." I giggled. He rolled his eyes before laughing. We got up and walked out to the car, "CALUM OH MY GOD" this twig, bleached hair girl with a ton of make up came running up. She was barely wearing any clothes and it was revolting. "Oh my god! Can I get a photo with you?!" He looked at me for approval and I nodded. I'm not sure why he looked at me for approval. I don't care if he takes photos with fans, I mean that's who got them to where they a- the fuck is that blonde bitch doing. I looked over to see Calum's lips pressed to hers. I gasped as she pulled away smirking at me. The tears threatened to spill so I turned around and started walking back to the condo. "What the hell? BABY! Wait!" I heard Calum start running. "babe! Where are you going? What's wrong?" He questioned catching up to me and grabbing my wrist. I turned around and snatched my wrist back. His eyes looked at mine and I could feel his heart shatter. His eyes looked so full of hurt. "Babe?" He spoke, his voice cracking as he looked like he was gonna cry. I turned around and kept walking. I heard footsteps again and this time when he grabbed my wrist he pulled me into his arms as I cried. "Baby, I'm so sorry! I didn't know she was gonna do that" I shook my head no. "Calum, is this how it's going to be every time you go out? Someone trying to make out with you and trying to break us apart. Cause if so I can't keep on doi-" he cut me off. "NO. Babe please don't ever say those words. Don't ever say anything like that! I don't know If I could live with out you" he cried On top of my head and squeezed me closer to him. "I love you so much" he kissed me over and over again. "Don't ever forget that." I nodded and placed my arms around his waist hugging him tightly back. "Never" I replied softly.
