Chapter 8

"But Calummm" I whined, "But Delaneyyyy" He mocked back. I crossed my arms and gave him a look. He shook his head no. "All I want in life is for you to go make me hot chocolate, is that too difficult to ask for?" He sat on the bed next to me, "Its hot out! Why do you want hot chocolate?" I groaned and stood up before walking out of the room. When I turned into the living room there was a girl sitting on the couch, I waved and continued my walk to the kitchen. I came to a halt and backed up, I gave her a confused look. "Uhm, hi?" She smiled and stood up, "Hey! I'm Alice!" I thought for a second, "Mikey invited me over," My eyes widened and it all clicked together. "Oh! Oh my gosh! It's so nice to meet you!" I pulled her into a quick hug. "Where is Michael?" I asked, looking around. "He went to go pick up some breakfast for everyone real quick" I nodded and continued walking to the kitchen, "Come join me in the kitchen, I'm making hot chocolate, SINCE CALUM WON'T MAKE ME ANY" He scoffed from my bedroom. "You two are literally the cutest couple!" She gushed, taking a seat at the counter as I pulled some mugs out. "Thank you" Calum said from behind me. "Ew get out of here" I groaned; he walked over and pecked my cheek but I wiped it off. "COOTIES" I screamed as I rubbed my face. "You have issues, Hi! I'm Calum, Nice to meet you!" He shook Alices hand. "Alice" She introduced her self. He looked down at the third cup I was pouring hot chocolate into. "Is that mine?" He smiled like a 5 year old in a candy shop, I shrugged. "Yeah, but it will cost ya", He chuckled, "What would that be?" I took the whip cream and topped the drinks off before handing one to Alice, but keeping Calums out of reach, " five hundred gabillion dollars" I smiled, he lauged "Your hot chocolate isn't that good!" I gasped, "And thats where you went wrong" Alice spoke up. He tried to reach for the hot chocolate but I slid it behind me. "I don't think so!" I yelled, Ashton walked in, "OOH DELANEYS HOT CHOCOLATE?" I nodded and handed him Calums cup, as he stood there shocked. "Oh my gosh," Ashton took a sip, " I would pay five hundred gabillion dollars for Delaney's hot chocolate" He continued. "At least someone appreciates me, maybe I should date Ashton instead" I giggled as I hugged Ashton's waist. He put his arm around my shoulders as Alice and I laughed. "Whatever I don't need this band" Calum walked out of the room very sassy, I giggled and followed Calum back into my bedroom. He flopped down on his stomach on the bed, I copied his actions. He turned his head and raised an eyebrow while smiling a little. "Stop copying me" He chuckled, "Wanna fight? Come at me Bro!" I hit my chest with my hands. He sat up and flopped on top of me. "Get off me you fat ass!" He just laid there as I struggled to move. "Not until you apologize!" He chuckled before placing his face on the back of my head. "Did you just smell my hair, Calum?" I screamed, "Maybe.." By now I was laughing to the point my stomach was hurting. "Oh my god, Calum! I'm going to pee my pants!" He quickly got off me as I ran to the bathroom. When I walked back out Calum was standing up with his back to me. I ran and jumped on his back, we both tumbled to the ground with a thump.He rolled over under me as we layed there laughing. I had my hands on his chest and his were around my waist. He was just staring at me, I covered my face with my hands. "why are you staring at me?" He chuckled, "Because you're the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on,and Delaney?" I was blushing so red right now. "Yeah?" I asked softly, while staring into his beautiful brown eyes. " I think I'm in love with you" He said in a barely audible whisper. Our faces were centimeters away from each other. "I think I'm in love with you too" I closed the space between the both of, all of our emotions flowing together in this one kiss. "FOUND THEM!" I heard Mikey scream, Cal and I pulled apart and Calum groaned. "I swear" I giggled and stood up, placing my hand out for Calum to grab. I helped pull him up and we walked hand-in-hand to the living room. "I walked in there and they were practically having sex on the flo-" I cut Mikey off, "We were not" I rolled my eyes. Everyone laughed and went back to watching there show. I sat down and snuggled into Calums side. Lauren gave me an odd look before mouthing "What happened?" I smiled extremely big. "Girl Meeting!" She yelled, standing up and walking to her room, I groaned and gestured for Alice to tag along. I stood up and already knew what the meeting was about. I walked in her room, I was the last one. "So, Delaney, Care to explain why you and Calum are so in lo-" Lauren gasped, as I smiled at the ground. "HE SO DIDN'T" everyone was looking at us like we were crazy. I nodded very quickly, "HE DID" She and Rachel screamed, "I'm sorry, What are you guys talking about?" Scar spoke up. "Are you stupid?! He told her he's in love with her!" Scarlet and Alice began freaking out. "Did you say it back?" Alice asked me. "Yeah, of course! He's so sweet and funny and I really, really like him." I continued, "this relationship is nothing like my last ones" I smiled at the ground again. "Oh my god!" Rachel said tearing up. I groaned while burying my face in my hands. "Can we please stop talking about me! Let's talk about how Mikey had the courage to actually invite a girl over!" Everyone laughed. "Actually, Mikey and I have hung out quit a few times, he just didn't know how you guys would take it" She bit her lip. "That's so adorbs!" Scarlet said. Once we were done talking we went back into the living room, I got half way down the hallway when Calum walked up, "Can we talk?" I nodded and looked back at the girls who looked as confused as I did. We walked into my room, "Did I do something wrong?"  He took my hands in his, "No! Of course not, I just thought we could finish what we started before" He winked and pulled me closer, placing my arms loosely around his neck. "Can we slow dance?" I asked before giggling at the weird look on his face. He chuckled before softly placing his hands on my waist. He began slowly swaying us back and forth. I placed my head on his chest, "Delaney, you're so odd" He chuckled, I lifted my head and glared up at him, "But I love you" He leaned down and pecked my lips. "I love you, too" I smiled. "Wanna watch AMC Freakshow on netflix" He laughed, "See what I mean!" I giggled before pulling out my laptop and sitting on the bed and patting the spot next to me, which was soon occupied by Calums beautiful butt.
