Chapter 10

"We need a girls night" Lauren said sitting next to Rachel  on the couch. "We need a boys night" Calum stuck his hand out fruitfully. I giggled and smacked his arm. He chuckled and slid his arm around my shoulders. "Why don't we go to dinner and a movie?" I suggested. "You guys should,my friends having a bon fire so us boys can go to that" Luke spoke up. I got up and went to the room to get ready, Calum followed behind me. He gave me a kiss, "I hope you have fun tonight" I told him. "I hope you do too, Love you." He kissed me one more time, "Love you, too" He got up and walked out leaving with the rest of the boys. The girls and I loaded up in the SUV and drove to a nice restaurant. Once we were all seated, we all started talking about how everyone was doing. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the boys and having them around, but sometimes you need that girl time with your friends. For them to grow stronger as a band they need some guy time too. We ordered our  meals which came out shortly after. "I've missed this" Rachel said, taking a sip of her water. I nodded in agreement; Alice looked at her phone and frowned. "What's up, Alice?" She nodded her head as if to say nothing. I shrugged it off and continued eating. Alice got up, "Lauren, come with me to the bathroom?" Lauren gave her a weird look, but went anyways. After they had gone I decided to go too, "I have to go as well" I told Rachel and Scarlet. "I don't know, we just can't let her see twitter" I heard Alice say as I opened the door, "Hey girls, Whatcha talking about?" I asked as I washed my hands and fixed my pony tail. " Nothing" They both said quickly at the same time,I gave them a weird look, but followed them out of the bathroom. When I sat down I pulled out my phone, "Let's go see our movie!" Lauren said causing me to put it back into my purse. We got back into the car and got to the movie theater. Why are the girls acting so weird? I asked myself. I pulled Alice aside, "Alice, be completely honest with me, What is going on?" She opened her mouth, hesitated then closed it. She sighed before speaking. "Okay, apparently Calum is really drunk and has been tweeting famous models, Mikey just told me to keep you off twitter so we could have a fun night and not let that ruin it." I nodded before smirking, " I have a tweet to make." I pulled out my phone and put the picture of the banana chopper and captioned it with '#Calumgetbackinyourlane' Alice laughed and followed me into the theater. Within 3 minutes the hashtag was trending. I smiled and sat in our chair as the movie began. We got home around 11:30 pm, which was good because the boys weren't home yet and that allowed me a chance to figure out what was going on and how to deal with it. "Alright, I had so much fun! But I think I'm going to bed, I've got a bit of a headache." The girls nodded and I walked into my bedroom. I locked the door behind me and sat at my desk with my laptop. I read thru Calums tweets,they were to this girl named Katya. I clicked on her page to see why Calum was telling her he may be in love with her. Sure, it wasn't the smartest thing to do, and I may end up hurt, but I will never let anyone use me. I clicked on one of her tweets to see a picture of her in nothing but her undergarments. I knew I shouldn't have done this, of course Calum would want a girl thats skinny, and a model. Why would anyone want a volleyball player with thunder thighs? I closed my computer and the tears started falling, how could I be so dumb? I should've known, why would he want some American fan girl? I crawled into my bed and pulled the duvet up to my chin. For some reason I could not sleep for anything. At about 2:00 am  I heard the front door close, time to face the music. I would try to talk to him about it and it would probably end in him telling me I'm too clingy and then him storming out. I heard the door jiggle before he realized it was locked. He knocked softly, "Laney?" I got up and opened the door. He smiled at me and gave me a sloppy kiss, "Cal, I think you should sleep on the couch tonight" I said quietly, you could smell the alcohol on his breath. "What? Why?" He asked, very concerned. I sighed, trying to hold the tears back, "Please, Calum." He slammed his fist against the wall, "All I want to do is to fall asleep next to my girlfriend, and I can't do that?!" He yelled, "Shhh! Calum, baby, you're being loud!" I whisper shouted. Luke walked out of Lauren's room, "What's going on?" I gave him a look of desperateness, " I feel Cal should sleep on the couch tonight" I looked at the floor, I didn't want Calum to see me cry. Luke nodded and led Calum to the couch, giving him some aspirin and a water bottle. I thanked him and closed my door, making sure to lock it. I sat on my bed and cried, I was stuck in a situation I didn't know how to deal with. Finally after some time I was able to somewhat fall asleep, I tossed and turned all night. When I woke up it was around 10:00am, I opened the door and laying on the floor was Calum, passed out. I stepped over him and went to go grab a water. "Hey, can we talk?" I turned to face him, "uh, yeah" I said quietly. He led me to my room and sat on the bed, patting it for me to sit next to him. "I never, ever meant to tweet any of those things, I would never want to hurt you," He continued, "I love you so much and I don't even know those girls." I nodded, I totally understand where he is coming from. It's just like if I were to tweet Zac Effron and tell him I loved him. "I know, but it still hurt.." He wrapped his arms around me, "Please forgive me, I will never, ever do it again." I hesitated but nodded, I know he didn't mean to do it, and I loved him so of course I forgave him. "i love you so much" He kissed me, I kissed back, "Just don't let if happen again, It isn't that hard to order that $2 banana chopper and have it here by tomorrow." I smirked. "Never!" He smiled back before kissing me again.
