I walk out to the Forest with Karli's father. Half my mind wants to tear him apart right now. Although, I decided to hear him out. After we reached the middle, he stopped. "What are you doing back here, Hayden?" He asked me.

"I could ask you the same question," I say leaning against a tree. "Last time I saw you, you burned in a fire," I say.

He rolled his sharp green eyes, glaring at me. "I sorta survived that."

I look at him. "I see."

"I thought you were killed by Snotlout?" He asked me.

"He only Injured me, I didn't die."

Her Father snarled madly. "He had every right to kill you." He snapped. "Blood Sucker's like you should be dead now!"

"Because of you!" I snap.

"I wanted the Vampire Species wiped for a reason!" He snarled.

"And why's that?" I ask.

"Your Venom is poison to most Dire Wolves. Normally, one bite is fatal to us!" He snapped at me, a low growl ruptured in his throat. I don't reply. He just looked at me. His green gaze burning into my eyes. "You still didn't answer my question!" He finally said.

"What?!"

"What are you doing back here?"

"I came to get a fresh start, like you!" I say.

"I'm not getting a fresh start, I'm hiding!" He said.

"Right, right. You're the Wolf who lost his place as Alpha and was banned from his pack by his own Cousin!" I say. He snarled madly. "Relax, Wolfe!"

He surprisingly settled. "So you've come here to get a fresh start?" He asked.

"Uh-Huh!"

"Then why are you Mooning over my Daughter?" He asked.

"Your Daughter?"

"Yeah, last time I check, Karli was my Daughter!"

"That's impossible!" I say. "You and I both know that immortals can't reproduce."

"I don't know how it happened!" He said to me. "Believe me, I thought it was impossible too," he stared at me. "Let's just say, she was some Miracle."

I just look at him. He just stared back to me. "What's wrong with me Hanging out with Karli?" I ask.

"I don't need her hanging around with killers like you!" He snapped.

"You're a Killer!" I say.

"I kill for a cause. Not for fun!"

"Karli is nice, and she seems innocent enough." I say. "It's not like she's going to find out what I am!" I say.

"Your lucky Karli is Oblivious to your true form, she's too..." He started but trailed off. "Too Shy to pay attention to the Signs."

"If she's to Oblivious, why don't I tell her myself?" I say. "How do you think she'd react?" I ask.

He turned to me. "Don't you dare tell her!" He snarled.

"Or what?"

"I'll kill you myself!" He snarled.

"Will you now? Your not going to back down like you usually do?" I ask. He remained where he was. Not even moving a muscle. "Snotlout told me about you," I say. "You can't kill. It's not in your blood..." I say. "Is that because your family is too weak to kill?" I saw anger burn up in his eyes. For someone who's trying to Provoke him, it's working! "Is that why Hiccup?! Was your Family too weak to keep their Territory?! Is that why you lost to name as Alpha?!" He let out a loud snarl, shifting and pinning me to a rock. Well, making him mad worked. He stared at me, his blazing gaze burned into mine. "Go ahead Haddock, kill me!" I say. He didn't even twitch. "Prove me wrong, and kill me!" Still no movement. "When you do kill me, and Karli asks where I am, what are you going to tell her?" I ask him.

He remained still for a moment. If he cared for his Daughter at all and wanted her to be happy, he'd let me go. After a moment, he let me go. He shifted again, but his gaze was still on me. "I'm doing this for Karli!" He said. "Don't think I'm letting you free, because I couldn't kill you." He added. I look at him for a moment. He then pinned me to a tree in seconds. "If you do so much as hurt Karli, I won't hesitate to kill you!" He snarled quietly. He's actually starting to scare me now... Maybe I shouldn't have tried so hard to provoke him. "Understand?!" He asked. I don't answer him. "Do you understand?!" He asked again with a snarl.

"Yes. I-I understand..." I say.

"Good!" He said letting me go.

"Now go," he started. "And don't tell Karli about this!" He added.

"I won't." I started as I walked away from him. He stayed in the forest watching me as I leave. 

Back when we are younger, I was never scared of him... But now, I think I am.
