The Arrival of Astrid and Fishlegs had made my dad aware of what is to come. Snotlout wants war. But we don't. Dad and I were hunting, while the others waiting near the edge of the woods.

Two days have passed since those two have arrived. "I have a question!" I say to my dad, as we walk through the woods.

"What?" He asked as he stopped.

"Have you ever thought of Forgiving Hayden?" I ask.

"Occasionally." He flicked his tail at me, as he trotted off.

"And?" I ask him, following him.

"I don't like the idea."

"But Dad, he's forgiven you!" I say to him.

He pounced on a rabbit killing it. "Yeah, I know. But I can't let him be forgiven."

"Why?"

"Because he'll take you away!" He said to me, picking up his kill.

"Take me -- what?"

"The second I forgive him, he'll take you away, and your mother and I will never see you again." He said to me dropping his Rabbit again.

"You'll never lose me, Dad," I say.

"I know but--"

"But nothing. You are always the one I need. You were there for me when I needed help controlling my hunger." I say.

His ear twitched. "You were young."

"And I still am. I no older then 8, I may seem like I'm 17, but you know I'm not." I say to him, brushing my tail on his back. "You'll always have me around." Before he could say anything, I heard my mom calling us. He picked up his rabbit then started to run. I ran after him.

We ran up to my mom. Astrid, Fishlegs, and Hayden were with her. "Oh. Good. You're okay."

"When am I not okay?" he asked. She looked at him. "-- Uh, don't answer that.." I heard Astrid laugh from behind. "Laugh now, Astrid! I'll catch you doing something stupid soon!"

"Uh huh, sure!" Dad suddenly stopped, his ears moving in different directions picking up sound.

"... Great..." My mother muttered silently. He suddenly snarled, looking around. "8 hours isn't up," I say.

"No he's heard someone --" Astrid said. "-- Or something."

I look up as two wolves walk out of the fog. One was dark brown, the other was off golden brown. Dad snarled again. "What are you doing here Vitani?" He asked.

The golden brown one twitched. "I heard you were captured by the humans and used to wipe our species." She said.

Dad sat down, neatly curling his tail around his paws. "Yeah so."

"I thought you'd need some help!" She said.

"Why would I need your help?"

"I heard you were wanted dead by Snotlout!" She said.

"That's never changed, he's always hated me!" He snarled.

"He won't stop until your dead!" The dark brown one said.

My dad looked at him. "Who the hell are you?"

"This is Midnight, a new member of the outcasts."

"I'm the only known outcast." My dad told her.

"He was banished from the tribe, the second he turned."

My Dad looked over to us, then back to them. "So your here, because you need someone to help you, and you suddenly want to help me?"

"Well, I don't want to be fighting against you!" Vitani said. "I heard you're pretty strong! One of the strongest."

My dad's ear twitched. "Fine... I suppose you can join us! I've already got Astrid Fishlegs, and a Vampire, so why not?"

Vitani looked over. "You also have a Human, and a Human-Wolf..." She said. "An immortal child."

Dad flicked his tail towards me with a dramatic sigh. "Okay. For starters. She's not an Immortal Child. She's my child... Half mortal half immortal." Vitani went to speak but my dad cut her off. "Don't ask how it was possible, because I don't know. And the human is her mother. My mate!"

"She should be dead!" Midnight snarled. "Humans can't survive immortal child's... Or even an Alpha Heir,"

"But it's true!" My mother said out loud. "I gave birth to her, and I'm still a human!" I saw Astrid nod. My dad backed up slowly to me. Vitani followed.

"Look. She has blood in her veins and a Beating heart."

Vitani gasps silently. "She is alive." My dad nodded. "That's incredible."

My dad looked at me then back to her. "Now do you believe me."

She nodded. "I do."

Astrid jumped in between them, making me jump, and Vitani to back up. "Now!" She started looking between Dad and Vitani, "We don't have much time."
