"Karli hurry up!" I hear Mom call me. Today was the last day of the weekend. And my mother thought we should go on a Family Outing in the Woods with my Aunt and Uncle. My dad was already in the woods. Where he likes to be. I go downstairs, to see my mom standing there waiting. "C' mon, your Father is waiting."

"Okay, okay. I'm here," I say. If anyone in school asks who I'm more like. My mother or my father. I'd have to say both. I have my mother's appearance and her Blonde hair, and I have my Father's green eyes, his fun personality and well, his immortality.  But no one knows that one. "Okay," I say to my mom. She was with Aunt Anna and Uncle Kristoff. "I'm ready!" I say.

Aunt Anna smiled then nudged, my mom. "It's hard to believe she almost took your life," she whispered.

"Right.." My mother muttered. She looked away for a moment. "Okay. Let's go." She added as we all headed for the door.

The Woods

"Where did your father say he'd be?" Mom asked me as we walked.

I shrug. "Dunno," I say. "He just told me he was leaving."

As we walk, a medium length tree branch falls in front of us. Mom sighed looking up. "That would be your Father.." She sighed, as my Father himself landed on the forest ground in front of us perfectly. My mother laughed a little. "Seriously."

"Eh, I didn't do it!" He muttered picking up the branch.

She only looked at him. He threw the branch behind him, still looking at her. My Aunt nudged her. "He hasn't changed a bit."

Mom shook her head. "No... He hasn't." She looked at him for a moment. "Why were you in a Tree?" She asked him.

He smirked a little. "Why weren't you in a Tree?" He asked.

"Hiccup!"

"Okay, okay. I saw a squirrel." He replied lowering his head.

Aunt Anna stepped forward a little. "Why didn't you wait for us?" She asked. "We have Sandwiches."

"Anna," Mom replied. "He can't eat Human Food, I told you that already. Like 50 times." She said.

"Why? Karli can!"

"Karli is half Wolf, He isn't."

Mom looked over to Dad, who gave her a smirk. "It's a lifestyle, your food is gross!" He responded then was gone within a half a second.

"Wow, he's fast." I heard my Uncle say in the back.

"He saw something.." My mom Muttered.

Typical. "So. Let's just eat here!" I say.

Mom looked at me. "What are you doing for lunch?" She asked. "Are you joining Dad in hunting, or are you going to eat proper food?"

"I'll have a sandwich," I reply. "He'll be fine on his own!" I add.

Mom sighed again. "Oh, I know that." A few minutes later, my Dad returned with a Squirrel. He was in his wolf form, and his fur was soaked. My mom turned to him as he dropped his squirrel. Keeping a safe distance from us, he shook himself violently, shaking all the water out of his fur. "What happened this time?"

"So, funny story..." He started, licking his side to dry his fur some more. "It jumped into the water." He answered. "I never saw a Squirrel do that." He added, shaking more water out of his fur.

"Oh god, Dad.." I mutter to him.

He sat up. looking at me. "Never chase a Squirrel into the water." He replied then shook again. I could hear my mom laugh a little. My dad may have been around for a while, but he's still a child. He was forced to grow up young... I say let him have his fun...
