Chapter 5

Felix's POV

Carlos had placed me on a bed-like surface, along with a blanket my size. It was so thoughtful of him to do all of this, usually giants weren't too bothered about caring for my kind or our feelings. I lay there, grateful for what he had done. After a while, I saw him get up to lock the door, and then slipped something from under the bed. He was using a small, flat object that had a screen on it. I had seen many giants use these machines before(Sounds like a boomer lmao), but it had always amazed me how such technology worked. Carlos saw me looking at his phone quizzically, and started to teach and show how things worked on the "phone". It was entertaining, learning about possible entertainment sources, but it was also weird at the same time. I heard Carlos murmur something under his breath, but I couldn't figure out what he was saying.

Carlos' POV

I locked my door so no one could come in, and I took out my phone while waiting for Felix to get better. I chuckled when I saw him looking up at my phone, puzzled. Wouldn't it be fun to show him how it works? I thought and smiled, showing him the ins and outs of my phone. "Cute.." I giggled under my breath as his eyes lit up with awe as I showed him everything. He looked up at me, trying to figure out what I said, but I felt my face turned a shade of light pink. I heard my parents calling me to have dinner, but I didn't want to leave Felix unattended. I let him mess around with my phone and reluctantly went downstairs. "Mother..can I please eat upstairs?" I asked hopefully. "Well alright. We're going to take up the rest of the downstairs area anyway..expect your maid to knock on soon." she sighed. Yes! I ran back to my room with excitement, punching my fist in the air. I came back into the room to find Felix searching something on my phone..

Felix's POV

I watched as Carlos went downstairs, and I started to search random things. Then a brilliant idea came across my mind. I searched "Phones for Humans" and my eyes lit up with joy when I saw you could actually get human-sized phones! I looked through a list of human phones to see which ones I liked. Just then, I saw a very happy-looking Carlos coming into the room. I tried to exit the search, but before I could, he grabbed the phone and chuckled at it. "I can get you one if you like." he smiled. I sat there, stunned. "No..it's okay! I'm fine without it. Really-" I began to stutter. "Nah, it's fine. I have enough money. Don't worry about it! Think about it - if you or I get lost, we can communicate!" he exclaimed cheerfully, as if imagining it happening. I thought about it. It was a really good reason to get one. "Okay.." I settled. Carlos punched his fist in the air cheerfully, and I smiled. His smile and laugh was extremely contagious. I chuckled.

Carlos' POV

I ordered Felix his brand new phone, thinking how adorable he would look with it. I decided to go all out and got some new clothes, earphones, and an actual bed. They were all his size, of course. It was really convenient that the place which made small clothes weren't too far away.  But it still surprised me that they sold all of these things. Were there more of his kind? These thoughts faded away when I heard Felix let out a chuckle. "What's so funny?" I smiled. "Oh, nothing." he said quickly, blushing a bit. I walked over to my desk to grab a bottle cap, and poured a little bit of water into it. "What are you doing?" he asked me, tilting his head. "I'm preparing a bath. They're really nice. You have the option to change now, since you have new clothes coming." I explained, giggling a bit when Felix's mood brightened at the words "New Clothes". The doorbell rang, and I rushed down to answer it. Just as I thought it was, a man was standing there holding a small, clear box with clothes in it. "Order for...Mr.Damien?" he said. I had set up a fake account as the name "Damien" so it wouldn't be alerted I was royalty. I thanked him and took the clothes up to Felix, where he tried them on, and looked, SUPER CUTE!
