Felix's POV

I told myself not to be nervous, but all I could think about is what would happen if Carlos' parents' found me. I would probably be dead meat. Or Carlos. Whatever, I didn't want to think about it, besides, he would do a good job at hiding me, right? That was initially what I thought, but I didn't expect him to just place me on the table like that! The whole place became silent, and it felt awkward, all of Carlos' family members were staring at me. I turned to look at his sister, who was still clearly annoyed, so I turned to look at his parents. I felt their stares pierce through me - they were staring me down, looking disgusted. I slowly backed away into Carlos' direction after a couple of minutes, but jolted as someone had finally started to speak. "And who is this, Carlos?" his father asked him sternly. "His boyfriend." his sister began. "Shush! He's not my boyfriend, father- Sir, he's just uhh..." he started thinking. "His...uh, pet!!" I said, triumphant that I had helped him. "Alright. Just so you know, when there's a pet in this castle, that pet is OURS. Got that?" his mother said. My eyes widened, and I turned over to look at Carlos, who was sweating and slowly reddening with anger.

Carlos' POV

This is what I feared the most - losing Felix. What would I do without him? I knew my parents would just keep him for themselves and never give him back, as they were the most selfish people I knew. I tried to protest with them that he didn't do well with other people, but they shrugged it off! Not very 'thoughtful and loyal', are they? I sighed and looked over to my sister, who was laughing her head off at my situation. I gave her a "This isn't funny!" look, but she just continued. Felix looked at me with a blank stare, hopeful that I would say something, but I couldn't do anything to protect him further. "Maids, bring him to our room." My mother said. "I need to make sure he's worthy enough to stay in this castle." she glared at me. "And you," my father said. "Don't ever get  another pet without our permission again." "But he wasn't a pet-!" I tried with all my might to persuade him that Felix wasn't really just a pet, but it didn't matter to him. "I'll have to see myself if he's that good to be seen as 'not a pet.' Now go and order the maids to get the Christmas period ready." he said. I got up reluctantly and went to tell the maids what to do. Oh how I wish I could've told them to get Felix back...

Felix POV

A maid grabbed me roughly and dropped me onto a bed. A couple of minutes later I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. It could be Carlos! I got myself looking neat as possible and stood up. My excitement was short-lived however, as it was only his Mom. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't just discard of you, pest." she shouted coldly. This wasn't how I expected royalty to act, but I guess I was just a tiny. "I...I could be useful..!" I suggested hopefully. "In what way?" she questioned. "I can do anything you want!" "We've got maids for that." "I can clean the house...?" "We've also got maids for that." I sighed, thinking of what to say. Then, an idea popped into my head. It wasn't the best for me, but I figured that it could work. "How about I be entertainment for your royal family?" I asked. The woman pondered on about it for a while. "Hmmm...I guess you could be a good entertainer, considering, you know..." she mumbled. "Alright! You've got the job to keep my daughter and son entertained. Got it? If you mess up..." "Yes ma'am." "Good, now get to work." she said sternly. I jumped off the bed, holding onto the blanket to slow my fall, and ran towards Carlos' room. "Uh-uh, you've gotta play with me first, not your boyfriend, okay? I heard that conversation, you know." I heard his sister say. "Oh no..." I thought to myself. She grabbed me and brought me to her room. I didn't want to play any games, and considering what Carlos' sister was like, I especially didn't want to play with her. I expected some weird dress up stuff, but her expression and tone changed completely to when we were outside. "Listen here. You can't always be with Carlos, what if something happens to one of you? That's what I'm here for - I'm going to train you, tiny!" she said confidently. Train me? What does that even mean?  I stood up and tilted my head, confused at what was happening.

NEW POV TIME!!

Amira's POV

I placed the tiny on the table and I thought to myself, 'I'm gonna train him!', and so I did. He wasn't prepared if he had to scavenge for any food anyway, so I figured it was best to make sure he was good enough for the outside world in case the family ever wanted to take him out. I placed my finger in front of him expectantly, but he just looked up at me, tilting his head. "Well go on, punch it!" I ordered, annoyed. "W-what?" he stuttered nervously. I rolled my eyes and gestured towards him and my finger. He looked slightly scared, though I didn't know why. He then began to punch the weakest punch I had ever felt. I didn't even feel anything. "Are you even trying?" I sighed. He nodded and I got angry. That didn't feel like anything! A real punch would knock him out cold if that was his best. I made sure to perform a demonstration against the wall, and nearly broke it! He became quite scared of me after, but I continued to train him. After a couple of hours, he was starting to get the hang of it, but then just collapsed. I shook my head and carried him over to my brother's room. "Carlos, I'm here to return your boyfriend!!" I giggled. "He's not my boyfriend!...What did you do to him?!" he shrieked. "Nothing bad, just trained him to fight back a bit..." Carlos looked quite shocked at my words. Did he think I wasn't capable of training pets? If he thought that, then he thought wrong!

Carlos' POV

I held Felix in my hands carefully. Did she really 'train' him? I shook Felix awake, and quickly asked him all the questions I could think of, to which he replied was all truthful. I didn't know my sister could be nice to tinies, to all people and species in fact! "I guess she's learned something." I murmured, still happy to get Felix back. One day, I heard a parade come up to discussion on certain topics. I had to get it ready, and Felix helped me with it. I hated the parades, they always stretched on for hours! On the day, I was just about to leave and made sure that everything was okay. It was far too busy to bring Felix with me, and this time, I knew he wouldn't leave so I had no need to put him in a jar, which was very lucky considering it was that time of year again. I left a couple plates of food behind, and ordered my maids to come in at lunch time to give Felix some food. With that, I waved a good bye to him and departed for the entire morning and afternoon. How I wished it would end...
