I stopped Amado from injecting the syringe into my skin. I glared at him

"What the hell are you gonna inject this time?"

"It's just something that'll help keep your powers in check"

"It's gonna stop me from unleashing level 2 right?"

Amado nodded

"Then I don't want it, how do I know you're not lying?" I asked

"I gave valuable intel on Jigen and Kara, which proved to be true after you all fought Isshiki, is that not enough to satisfy you?"

"No, it isn't. You betrayed Jigen for fucks sake!" I yelled out

Amado gave me a questioning look "Why are you so worked up about it?"

Shit. I wasn't watching my tone with him.

"He promised to bring her back! He even made you see that he was capable of doing so! So why!?"

He gave me no response

"It doesn't make sense! That's why I'm so worked up about it! If you betray someone who was willing to bring a loved one back, what are the possibilities that you'll betray someone who gives you protection?"

"You've been overwhelmed with negative emotions too much, haven't you?"

I was taken by surprise

"Tell me, how many negative emotions have you felt these past few days?"

"I, I don't know. Maybe around 3?"

Amado adjusted his glasses "Very well then, you're free to go if you'd like"

"I am, thank you for asking"

Just then Sakura appeared "Y/n! Just in time! Hurry and get ready"

I gave Hinata a questioning look "Why? Where are we going?"

She gave me a nervous smile

A few hours earlier

Kawaki came into the room, he seemed nervous and avoided eye contact

"Is something bothering you?" Hinata asked

Kawaki rubbed his head "I need you're advise"

Kawaki explained what he needed help on and Hinata stood in shock

But she shook it off, as she had prepared herself for this moment

She called Naruto over and explained what was happening

Naruto yelled "WHAT!" in surprise

Never in his life did he think Kawaki would have the guts to do what he wants to do

Hinata scolded him and smiled at Kawaki agreeing to help
