Kawaki pointed his weapon at me

"I'm only gonna ask this once!" He yelled as I stared at him. Unmoving.

"Are you Y/n!?"

No response

"Answer me damnit!" He yelled

The machine started feeding on the despair of others. Slightly activating the machine

I need to help boost the machine. I don't got time for this

I jump back and run towards the machine

"Hey wait!" Kawaki yelled running after me

His hand leaped forward grabbing onto my cloak taking it off of me while my mask fell to the floor

He let go of the cloak in shock

I stop moving my back facing him. I run my fingers through my hair as I take in the fresh air

"It feels nice to be back" I say as I pick up my mask and put it to the side of my head

"Y/n, is that really you?" Kawaki asked getting closer to me

I put something inside my mouth before turning to Kawaki, smiling at him while nodding

"Well?" I asked.

"Aren't you going to tell me how bad of a person I am? For leaving you behind? Shout? Scream?"

He came closer to me placing his hand on my cheek, inspecting my face. I lean onto his hand enjoying the warmth it gave me

"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you"

My eyes slightly widened at a loss for words

He tilted his head to the side as he leaned in. Closing his eyes in the process

His lips pressed up against mine. It was such a gentle kiss.

And I accepted it

For this is the only way I can think of right now to. . .

Kill him

I pinned him against the ground shoving my tongue inside his mouth. He gasped as he felt something round entering his mouth

I shoved it deeper inside his mouth causing him to swallow it. I pulled away and backed up as he started coughing violently

"What the hell did you do!?"

I wave goodbye to him as I snap my fingers

Nothing

I snap again and again yet nothing happened

Kawaki threw up what was inside him his eyes showing nothing but shock as  he picked up the marble I gave him

"I guess it doesn't work on Otsutsukis after all" I said and sighed

"This is. . . Don't tell me you're the one behind the explosion!"

"I am"

He threw the marble away "Do you realize how many people youve killed with those damn marbles!?" He yelled

"You killed Zuko for God's sake!"

I shrugged and made my way to the machine

"How could you be so heartless!? You've changed!"

I touch the lock and narrow my eyes

I need a key

"I didn't change, I'm just revealing who I truly am" I said and turn to him

"Zuko!" I yelled out

Kawaki seemed confused by this action. Did you not hear him? Zuko is dead

Zuko appeared out of thin air. He looked different. He was a bit transparent and his fur grew more flowing nicely through the wind

Zuko sat by my side awaiting orders

"Do you have the key?" I asked Zuko

Zuko barked and opened his mouth showing a key

"Good boy" I said and took the key

There are 3 stages to this leveling up machine

The despair of normal humans, the despair or anger of an Otsutsuki and the strength of the one who wishes to activate the machine

I twisted the key

Stage one: Complete

"I don't get it. . . I saw Zuko die!" Kawaki yelled

"I'll get straight to the point, Zuko was never alive-"

I quickly block my face with my hands as Boruto came flying towards me

I push him back from the machine

"Boruto!" Kawaki yelled in a mix of shock

"I know what you did!" Boruto yelled and proceeded to gasp when he looked at your body

Everything was covered in marks. Just what the hell have you been through!?

I tilt my head to the side

"Don't act stupid I know what you did to Sumire!"

"Y/n what is he talking about!?" Kawaki asked

"Sumire? Oh that purpled hair girl? What about her?" I asked

"You killed her didn't you!?" Boruto yelled

There was silence for a minute or so

"Yes I did"

Boruto gritted his teeth, tears threatening to fall out

"Then. . . Did you. . . Did you kill Himawari too?" Boruto stuttered out

I stayed quiet for a moment. I look at the machine level

'It's already half way'

I look back at Boruto

"I did"

(Because I suck at writing fighting scenes I'll give you guys a stick man fight instead start at 2:04 and end at 3:38, also you guys are yellow)

I kick Boruto away from me and looked at the machine

'Why the hell is it not completed yet!? Is his despair not enough? He's a full Otsutsuki! This is passing me off'

I steady my breathing before yelling out

“COME ON BORUTO! GET ANGRY! BE AFRAID OF WHO’S NEXT! AND SHOW ME YOUR TRUE POWER!”

"SHUT UP!" Boruto yelled back and striked at me

Kawaki watched from a distance thinking to himself

Was this goal of yours really that great for you to throw away what you had left?

What exactly can that machine accomplish? Why are there so many marks on your body

Did you still love him?
