The parade made Elliot want to commit Genocide, Finnick came over to her, much to Elliot's dismay, "Hello sunshine." The tribute greeted her, she rolled her eyes while she continued to search for Seth, whom she got lost from not too long ago.
Finnick had bronze hair, he had sea-green eyes. He was the definition of his district -district 4 is known for fishing and the sea-. He was tall and athletic with tan skin. He was good with water, he was also a capital favorite, meaning that there might be something with water in the games this year. His weapon of choice was a trident, when he was in the games someone sent him one, it is still the most expensive thing someone has sent into the games. He is the youngest victor of the games, he was fourteen when he won.
"Not much of a talker still?" Finnick nodded to himself. "Why do you still hate me, I mean like come on, how could you hate such a pretty face like this." He mused pointing at his face.
"You're kind of a douche, you know that right?" Elliot inquired. She was sick of him, he was staring at the side of her face since she refused to look at him while in search of her district partner.
"And she speaks," Finnick announced. He was very giddy and Elliot didn't know how when all but one of them would be dead in about 4 weeks. "But, yes, I am aware. Thank you for the assessment." his lip curled into a smirk, which in return Elliot rolled her eyes with a scoff.
"Hey Finnick." Seth arrived nodding at the boy. "Let's go El'." Seth said to the girl who made eye contact with him and said. "Do not call me that" through gritted teeth.
"Oh, well someone's feisty today" Seth laughed while helping her into the carriage.

Walking into the training room Elliot felt sick to her stomach, she was reliving everything once again just seven years later, she thought she could get over everything that went down in the arena but she was wrong. What she did to survive will never leave her brain, if she died, she just hoped it wouldn't be painful.
"This is a load of bullshit" Seth muttered, he wasn't a very open person, but Elliot had watched his games and they were brutal and bloody, completely traumatizing. Elliot looked around seeing most of the victors from The Hunger Games in one room. Elliot had known most of these people from years of parades and victory tours. She felt bad for the newbies, they didn't know anyone personally. But she knew they wouldn't have a hard time finding allies. Elliot knew who to stay away from, who were psychopaths, who were harmless and who not to double cross.
One of the first victors Elliot had met when she won was Beetee Latier, he was a bit odd but smart. She knew he was back in the games this year, she had seen him during the parade.
Last year it was Elliot's turn to train the district 5 tributes. She had a hard time when it was her turn, she usually never got attached but last year was something different. Finch Crossley was her name, a seventeen year old girl put into the games, she was extremely smart, clever and agile. She reminded Elliot of a fox, with her red hair and her slyness. She had died on one of the last days, she was fourth place. She died of poisonous berries. Elliot had a feeling that she knew that they were poisonous. She was too smart to fall for that, the 74th Hunger Games made completely no sense to Elliot.
