Katniss drew an arrow and prepared to aim in case anything happened. Peeta had his head down, not making eye contact with anyone, his lips were moving as though he was muttering something. It wasn't until Elliot closely inspected his lips' motions when she knew he was repeating to himself of his own identity, 'My name is Peeta Mellark, my home is district 12.'
Once Peeta got within five feet of the group Katniss drew her arrow, aiming for Peeta.
"Okay, stop." Gale said to Peeta. Elliot looked with wide eyes to Katniss, swiftly moving in front of Katniss.
"Hold up, relax everyone." Finnick said, moving to stand near Peeta.
"What are we doing?" Gale asked, his gun still ready to shoot. This is exactly why Elliot didn't like him, his first resort is violence.
Boggs stayed quiet, he slowly turned and quietly spoke. "Jackson, cuff him." Elliot knew it was just a safety measure but she still thought it was unfair to Peeta. That's when Katniss finally lowered her bow and Elliot stepped away from her, walking back inside, she was tired.
"They want us to add him to the propo." Boggs spoke once everyone was back inside the restaurant. "Show that he's on our side now."
Elliot wasn't really listening, she was playing with her butterfly knife mindlessly.
"We'll move forward a few blocks tomorrow and shoot the new footage." Boggs continued.
"He's not in control of himself." Gale spoke.
"I say we schedule an around-the-clock watch on him." Jackson said next. "The Leegs till 1700, Homes and Mitchell till 1900."
"Give me a watch." Katniss said..
"And if it really came down to it, do you think you could shoot him?" Jackson questioned.
"I wouldn't be shooting Peeta, be killing a capital mutt."
"Hey! That's enough he's right here!" Elliot straightened up, glaring at Katniss.
"I'm not sure that comment recommends you for the job, either, soldier." Jackson was really starting to piss Elliot off.
"Put her in the rotation." Boggs said, walking outside, with Katniss following shortly behind.
"Hey, Jackson." Elliot said, the woman looked up from where she stood by a broken window. "Put me in too. And I won't take no for an answer."
"How do you know he won't try to kill you?" She asked.
"Because you kinda build a bond when you hear each other scream for hours straight." That shut Jackson up pretty quick, she gave Elliot a curt nod and looked away.
"You never cease to amaze me." Finnick smirked once Elliot looked back down at her hands that still held the knife.
"Shut up, Finnick."
