The group was walking through the long large tunnels, Katniss stationed with the Holo in the front with Pollux by her side and Elliot, Finnick and Peeta behind her. They walk until they get to an intersection, where they tunnel split into two. They could go left where they would travel at an upwards slope or they could go right, but the right section was way too open for the group.
Pollux never ended up leading them to the left or the right, he got stopped by a large rattling sound or train tracks moving, everyone had heard it before; especially the victors with them traveling in them to the capital and the districts. It was the capital's trains. They group rushed to the left side where they would be shielded from the train's windows.
Elliot watched as the long train passed and rushed by them blowing her ponytail into her face. She huffed and moved all the hair from her face and saw the train now all the way down the hall that it was just a mere speck in her vision. They waited a moment as the train's rattling turned into the eerie silence of the capital's catacombs, Pollux pointed two fingers at the right side of the fork, making the entire unit follow him for the wide path the train had just left. Pollux moved to the right side of the tunnel and saw a thick metal door, he opened it and motioned for the group to follow.
Elliot looked up for a brief moment and something caught her eye, she was one of the last to go through the door so when she stopped barely anyone noticed. "Fuck," she muttered, "guys." she said as she closed the door behind her.
Katniss turned from the front of the group. "What? We don't have a lot of time-"
"We just passed a camera." Elliot spoke to Katniss, "Now they know we're alive."
"All the more reason to hurry." Gale said, as guided the group to continue.
"Come on, down here." Castor siad, grabbing the attention of the unit, he pointed to a ladder that traveled downwards. Pollux was already half way down.
Once Elliot's feet touched the cemented floor her eyes scanned her surroundings, it looked as though they were in some kind of large empty sewer, the walls were tall, the group damp and littered with large circular pillars. The tall walls soon transformed into a square shaped tunnel with pipes lining the ceiling, it looked never ending.
Katniss pulled out the HOLO to check for any pods, but before she could check the device's screen a huge gust of air blew from the pipes above making the gortup jump and duck. It lasted for a few moments and once it stopped Jackson spoke, "Everyone okay?"
Elliot slowly stood up but she couldn't seem to take her eyes off her hands, her right hand was shaking uncontrollably, she looked at everyone else and saw that no one else had any shaking limbs so she clenched her fist and tried to shake it off.
Once the group all stood there continued their walk, they turned left after about a mile's walk and saw a downwards slope. Pollux seemed sure on continuing this way but the only problem was that there was water covering the floor and only leaving a small gap for their head to poke out. Who knows what could be in that water.
