The doctor diagnosed that Kiyomi's headache isn't only caused by fatigue and her repressed memories that are trying to resurface. Kiyomi has traumatic amnesia, a memory loss resulting from a hard blow to the head, such as a car accident.

Kiyomi was in a coma for about two years after a car accident when she was fifteen. The loss of memory from the moment of TBI onward is called post-traumatic amnesia. Post-traumatic amnesia is usually temporary, but it usually depends on how severe the injury is. And Kiyomi's injury almost leads her to the brink of death.

"Are you sure about this? I mean, we can just watch a movie at home, and I'll cook," Ran coaxed. When Kiyomi collapsed, her assistant Kiana quickly contacted Ran to inform him about Kiyomi's situation.

Kakucho, on the other hand, had already taken Kiyomi and drove her to the nearest hospital before Ran arrived. With Kiyomi's current situation, Ran is adamant that they cancel their date and instead stay at home.

"Ran, you're not good at cooking," Kiyomi cackled.

Ran's culinary skills aren't the finest, but he'll do his best for Kiyomi, even if it takes him hours to study and learn on YouTube. "I'll watch it on YouTube. What do you want? Steak? Adobo? Tell me what you want, baby?"

Kiyomi held and squeezed Ran's hands tightly. "I want you to stop worrying. I'm fine. My head doesn't hurt anymore, so let's go. I'm hungry," Kiyomi assured and convinced Ran. She understands that Ran only wants to take care of her, and at the same time, she doesn't want her minor inconvenience to ruin her plans for the evening.

Ran had no choice but to accept it. Kiyomi lifted her head, glancing up at the restaurant's name. "L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon?" Kiyomi's lips quirked up, and she looked at Ran, raising her eyebrows. "Didn't you know you have a thing with French?" she questioned Ran.

L'Atelier is one of the gourmet chain's 12 locations worldwide. This two-star Michelin restaurant, built to seem like traditional sushi counters, has a distinct glossy black and red décor as well as a warm, dim-lit environment. L'Atelier (literally, "the workshop") delivers what is considered Japan's best French haute cuisine, as well as contemporary Western and Japanese cuisines.

Ran laughed and displayed a playful smile on his face; he whispered, "Of course, I have a thing with French, especially French kisses."

Her face flushed, and Kiyomi was astounded. It's indeed true that Ran Haitani is adept at kissing. He is God with his tongue, and thinking about that made Kiyomi shudder; it's making her lustrous. "Whatever, Ran, let's just go inside. I'm hungry!"

The restaurant host greeted them, and knowing Ran Haitani was one of the top executives of Bonten, they were treated extra special. "This is your reserved table, madame and sir," the waiter informed them.

"Thank you."

"Here is the menu."

Kiyomi and Ran took a moment to pick the food they wanted, and with the beef's aroma coming from the kitchen, Kiyomi ended up ordering, "La Bavette De Boeuf and red wine." La Bavette De Boeuf is a wagyu beef flank steak with mashed potato, and as everyone knows, beef always goes along with red wine.
