Back at their house after shopping, the mood was infectious as everyone eagerly anticipated trying on their new attire for the evening.

"We're back!" shouted Sharon, bounding through the door.

"Looks like no one's home," Karol noted, carrying an armful of bags while Sharon and Anna strolled in effortlessly, unburdened by their purchases.

"It's a blessing, really; we've got the house all to ourselves. Let's make the most of it!" Anna suggested, leading the charge upstairs. Before they parted to tackle their respective rooms, Karol chimed in, "Do you two want to call Accalia and see if she wants to join us for a little pre-party prep?"

With playful smirks, the duo exchanged glances. "Oh, someone's thinking of her future mother-in-law," Karol teased.

"Don't worry, I've already called her," Anna replied, "She'll be here in an hour."

With that, the three dispersed to their rooms, the excitement palpable as they prepared to shower and get dolled up before sliding into their splendid new dresses and makeup.

Almost an hour passed when the doorbell rang. Karol dashed downstairs to greet their make-up artist and hairstylist, promptly leading them to her room, the only one that wasn't a complete hurricane zone.

Moments later, another ring echoed from the front door, and this time it was Accalia, dressed casually yet stylishly, clutching her own dress.

"Hi Accalia! Come in, everyone's waiting for you upstairs in my room!" Karol beckoned, grabbing the dress from Accalia's arms, closing the door behind them, and guiding her to the chaos of excitement awaiting above.

As Accalia stepped into the vibrant whirlwind of readiness, she greeted everyone with a warm, "Hi guys, I'm here!" making the pre-party prep even more lively.

The ladies were enjoying their time together, engrossed in animated conversations filled with laughter, gossip, and excited exchanges about the upcoming soirée they would soon attend. They took turns preening before the mirror, laughter punctuating the air as they deftly applied their make-up and styled their hair, each one eager to outshine the last.

Hours later, as the final touches were applied and satisfaction swept through the room, the front door swung open with a flourish. The inviting sound of robust laughter and lively chatter filtered up from downstairs, reverberating through the house. Then, like a heralding trumpet, William's voice boomed, "We're here!" echoing through the halls. Sharon, quick to anticipate, perked up and called out to her man, "Wait for us in the living room!" Her tone was playful yet commanding, ensuring he knew she'd be there shortly.

Minutes later, as the make-up artist and hairstylist gathered their supplies and departed, the ladies began to reveal themselves to their partners one by one. The men stood momentarily speechless, their eyes widening in awe as they took in the sight of their beloveds, each one transformed into a vision of beauty, stunningly dressed and meticulously dolled up for the festive occasion ahead.

As they convened in the living room, hands linked with their partners in a display of unity, Karol found herself positioned awkwardly between her parents and her sister, deliberately distancing herself from Christian, her mind a tumultuous storm as she gazed at him, his charm rendering him almost unbearably handsome.

"Who's going to ride with who?" she asked, her voice steady, yet betraying a hint of anxiety as she glanced around the room.

Beo chimed in with enthusiasm, "William, Anna, Accalia and I will be in the same car. I'll drive, and we can chat more on the way." Jason, not to be outdone, added with a smirk, "Sharon will be with me, of course," his eyes studying his fiancée with unabashed admiration.

Christian, unable to resist the opportunity, quickly interjected, "That leaves you and me, so you'll be with me. I'll drive us there," his bold gaze raking over her, clearly undressing her with his eyes, the long coat concealing her figure only adding to the allure.

Without further ado, Accalia clapped her hands together, a spark of excitement igniting in her eyes. "Now that's settled, let's head out before we're late for the party!" The others followed in a cheerful procession, moving towards their respective cars.

Karol, feeling momentarily abandoned by Christian, seized the opportunity to excuse herself. "Christian, give me five minutes, I need to go to the loo," she said, her voice an earnest whisper as she slipped away towards the restroom adjacent to the kitchen.

After an agonisingly long five minutes, she emerged, adjusting her long coat and smoothing it down nervously before glancing at the shoe area. Selecting a pair of striking black heels, she moved towards the staircase, poised to sit and put them on. But her movements halted suddenly as he dropped to one knee before her, a gentlemanly smile gracing his face.

"Let me help you with that," he offered his hands deftly aiding her as she navigated the delicate heels. Once standing, he entwined her arm in his, a warm smile lighting up his features. "Shall we go?" he asked, his tone laced with eager anticipation. She nodded her heart racing, and replied, "Let's go," as the duo stepped out into the night.

The moment she caught sight of Christian's car, she stifled a shriek, barely containing her delight at the magnificent beast waiting on the driveway. A grin split his face as he accompanied her to the passenger door, ever the courteous gentleman.

"Come on, let's get in before we arrive late at the party," he urged, swinging open the passenger door for her to slide in before hastily jogging around to claim his place in the driver's seat.

She couldn't help but murmur in awe, "With this beast, it's impossible for us to be late." Her fingers danced over the sleek dashboard, marvelling at the craftsmanship. Christian's joy was palpable; "You like it? I just bought it last week when they launched four of these bad boys worldwide," he said, watching her reaction with delight.

"I love it! Can I drive it? Maybe tomorrow, just for a test drive, of course, and you'll be with me. Don't worry, I won't steal it," she replied, enthusiasm ringing in her voice. "Seriously, how did you get your hands on this beauty? I thought they were sold out!"

Christian's smile widened, the glint in his eye playful as he replied, "That's because, baby girl, the one who launched this masterpiece is my friend." Her cheeks flushed at his compliment, and he added swiftly, "Let's see what this beast is made of," shifting gears and accelerating down the open highway.

As the exhilaration surged through her veins, she felt the adrenaline spike; the raw power of the car was intoxicating, and before long, they arrived earlier than anticipated—6:55 pm—having five precious minutes to spare before the festivities began.

Christian expertly parked at the entrance of the grand mansion, and a valet swiftly appeared, opening the passenger door for her with a courteous smile. "Thank you," she said, her voice sweet, flashing a polite smile in return, while the valet winked at her conspiratorially. His protective instincts flared, his jaw tightening as he stepped between his mate and the young man, his presence radiating possessiveness.

"Let's go, shall we?" Christian urged, his tone firm yet gentle as he gestured for her to join him. Nodding obediently, she linked arms with him, feeling a rush of warmth.

As they approached the imposing main door, Karol halted, realizing she needed to remove her coat. She handed it over to the attendant managing the guest's belongings. "Thank you," she said, her voice laced with gratitude.

Christian, on the other hand, was rendered momentarily speechless as he watched his mate unveil herself from the confines of her coat, revealing a strikingly sexy red dress that clung to her curves in all the right places, transforming her into the very embodiment of allure.

It was a striking high-neck body-con dress that clung to her figure like a second skin, featuring a daring criss-cross back and a slit that flirted seductively up to her right thigh. For every passer-by, the sight of her was magnetic, drawing every gaze like moths to a flame. In that moment, they both embodied the essence of a power couple, exuding an air of opulence and command that made them a spectacle to behold.
