As per the location that we were all in, they should have reached the hotel way before us but there was no sign of them. They were neither responding to our calls or texts and with every minute, I grew impatient.

Marwa didn't seem like she cared. She was on vacation mode and hadn't even started packing. I wasn't ready to have any argument with her but he's call sense was making me agitated. I just wanted them to reach the hotel safely and leave immediately.

"Can you please stop that!" Marwa screamed from accross the room.

"Stop what?"

"Tapping your foot."

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realise that I was doing it."

"By the way, you decided to call them back to the hotel. What are you planning on doing next?" Marwa was annoyed.

"Go back to Bangalore immediately."

"Why?"

"What do you mean why? Didn't you hear what she say? That maniac is here."

"Han so? You want us to run away from that one person?"

I cleanched my jaws to avoid saying anything that I would regret later. I took a deep breath and said, "you don't know him but I do. Safa is not safe here."

Marwa sat next to me on the bed and said," you still love her, don't you."

I stuttered. "I.. I.. she's a very good friend and I want her to be safe especially from him."

"So you don't love her?"

I didn't want to respond to that question. But my silence said it out loud.

"You know that she still wants her marriage to work right?"

I just nodded.

"And you still want to help?"

"I want her to be happy. She thinks that she is going to be happy with that maniac but that's not true. And that is why I want us to leave immediately, before he gets her. And why haven't you started packing yet?"

"Ooh k. First of all, I'm not going to pack because we are not leaving."

I was about to say something but she continued, "because I'm not going to let Safa know that Ayaan is here. And I'm not going to ruin my trip for anyone. I may have not got exactly what I came here looking for but I can definitely make use of this gorgeous location and have some fun."

"You're just saying this because you haven't met him since Safa and he got married. He is not a very 'fun' person to meet."

"So what? Like I said, I'm not going to ruin this trip for anyone. And I expect you to be normal in front of Safa. She's going to know that something is wrong, just by looking at your face."

I looked at the mirror and she was right. I looked flustered. I went over to the washroom and splashed some cool water over my face.

"I cannot believe that you are scared of him", Marwa laughed.

"I'm not scared of him, I'm scared of loosing Safa.... Again." I said and wiped my face with the towel next to the sink.

I didn't want to look at Marwa and turned away from her. It was easier to speak that way.

"So you still love her?"

"Of couse I do! I never stopped loving her."

As soon as those words escaped my lips, I felt a sudden weight lift from my chest. I turned around to look at Marwa and saw Safa and Daniyal standing next to her while she giggled.
