I woke to loud noises the next morning. It took me a while to identify what it was, but once I fully woke up I heard the gang in the next room. I rolled over and held the pillow over my ears, with no luck I decided to get up. I was exhausted, with only getting two hours of sleep, crankiness was inevitable. I walked out to the living room and locked eyes with Dally. Chills were sent all through out my body. Dally smirked and looked away.
The boys were all around the living room, pony, Johnny, and two-bit laid on the floor in front of the Tv. Steve and Soda sat on the couch and Dally on the recliner. They all sat around laughing at whatever was on the tv. I walked into the kitchen where Darry was making breakfast.
"Morning" I said opening the fridge grabbing the milk carton.
"How was your night?" Darry asked in a knowing tone. I was sure Soda told him.
"It was ok, I was back by one." I stated and poured a glass of milk. Darry nodded and handed me a plate of eggs and bacon. "U better eat before those boys come in here."
I was relieved he didn't press about the situation with Bob. I don't think I could handle another argument. Darry was stressed I could tell. He was dry and curt, which wasn't abnormal for him, but with the tone of his voice, I knew he had a long night.
"How was work?"
Darry made no answer but sighed deeply.
"Breakfast" Darry hollered to the boys.
They all came running in like a heard of cows, snagging every last bit of food. I laughed at pony who unfortunately wasn't quick enough and was left with nothing.
"I wasn't hungry anyways." Pony frowned.
"You big baby." I joked while putting some of my food onto a plate for him. "Soda give him some bacon."
Soda groaned and put a few pieces of bacon on his plate. Pony smiled softly and thanked me before exiting the kitchen followed by Johnny. The rest of the boys sat around the table, Dally took a seat to my right. I faced away from him and tuned into Soda and Steves conversation.
I felt a hand on my thigh, causing me to jump slightly, and Dally to lowly chuckle. I could feel the warmth of the blush as it crawled up my neck. His hand was still only for a second, and began trailing it's way up my bare skin. His touch felt hot to my body. I was nearly panting. I shot him a look. Dally paid no attention to me. His hand stop right at the bottom of my pajama shorts. He pulled his hand away, and suddenly my skin was cold at the loss of his touch.
The mind games Dally played on me drove me nuts, but I kind of liked the attention he was giving me. I was too flustered I didn't realize everyone's eyes were on me.
"Uh..what?" I questioned, looking all around.
"I asked if you wanted to come to the drive in with us?" Soda gave me a confused look. Dally laughed again. I shrugged my shoulders.
"I don't know, Darcy and I were gonna do somethin." I stated picking at my food. Could they tell something was up?
"She can come."
I shrugged once more, "I'll let you know."
I couldn't concentrate on anything other than how Dallys hand felt on my skin and how bad I wanted him. I put my plate in the sink before quickly going back to my room and getting ready for the day.
When the sun started to set and there was no trace of Darcy, I started to get worried. Was it a bad idea to let her leave with that guy? Or was she caught up with her parents? I didn't exactly know but the longer I thought about it the more anxious I became. I didn't want to go to her house and get her in trouble with her parents, but I had no clue who the boy was that she had left with last night. A knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts. "Come in." I said applying red lipstick to my lips.
