"There's nothin to do in this damn town." Darcy groaned.

There's nothing to do in this damn town for greasers, I wanted to correct her, but stayed silent. The possibilities for Socs were endless. Our days consisted of meeting up with friends, hanging out, going to parties and doing it all over again the next day. I was tired of that life. I wanted more.

"Enjoy doin nothin now, when the real world kicks in, we're gonna wish we had nothin to do" I said pushing open the door to the diner. We took a seat at the booth in the back and began looking over the menu.

"Guess what happened last night" I peeked over the menu. With Darcy it was unimaginable, she was wild.

"What?"

"I lost it." She grinned proudly.

"Your mind?" She swatted me with the menu. I laughed setting the menu down.

"The big v."

I rolled my eyes, "I knew what you meant." I wasn't going to say anything, but losing your virginity to the biggest loser in town wasn't a prize. He screamed desperation, but she was happy, and who was I to judge? I haven't lost mine either, not because I was saving it for the right person, the time never came around really. Having three brothers I didn't get much privacy, my business was their business.

"You're next!" She teased, "what about Dally? He's a good contestant...hot...tall"

"And easy." I finished her sentence. I didn't even want to know how many people Dally has slept with. The number would've made me sick. He was a ladies man and well, he liked the ladies.

"At this rate you're never gonna lose it if you keep bein so damn picky."

I ignored her words and stared at the door. Bob walked in with Randy and another boy from school that I didn't know his name. They sat at the other end of the table.

"If I see Bob Sheldon one more time, I think I'm gonna lose my mind."

"His face makes me sick." Darcy turned around in the booth and looked over at him. We both watched him look at us, and we looked away, back at our menus.

"I swear to god if he comes over here-and he's coming."

Darcy looked at me confused, "what does Bob Sheldon want with you?"

Before I could answer he approached the table, and I smiled lightly at him. He didn't smile, and turned so his back was facing the the rest of the guys.

"What do you want broadway?" Darcy asked shooting daggers at him. He ignored her comment. "Stella, Randy's real mad about last night."

I shrugged, "so what?"

"So, I told him I'd come over here and tell you to lay off on Cherry. But I really wanted to ask-"

Darcy cut him off, "Do you guys just trade girls, or what? I'm just curious. You know? One day you're with Cherry and now Randy's with Cherry, so does that make you with Marcia?" She raised her brow causing me the snicker a little. Bob rolled his eyes. "Touchy subject I see."

"Darcy, let him finish, please." I gave her pleading eyes. I wanted him to just leave us alone. We were getting eyes from people all over the diner, I just wanted him to say what he needed to say and go sit down.

"I wanted to ask you, one more time, and if you deny me again, I won't bother you again." I swallowed hard, knowing what was coming. "Do you want to go out on Friday? Go to the movies or something?"

Darcy quickly looked at me, and smiled, like a light bulb went off in her head. Before I could even deny his offer, Darcy spoke up. "She would love to" I nearly choked at her words. What was she doing?! I couldn't go out with Bob. That would be the end of me. If Soda knew, I was dead, and besides,I didn't fancy Bob. Bobs face light up, "is that true?" I should've said no there, but I didn't have the heart to do that. Bob was different...he wasn't like Randy, or Cherry, or Marcia. He wasn't like most Socs. The night he walked me home, I found out we had a lot more in common then I would've thought. I realized he was still waiting for my answer. I smiled again, "yeah...sounds good." Dear god, what have I gotten my self into?
