Zelda looked up into the sky, the crystal blue sky, and took a second to breathe in fresh air. It had been a while, after all, since all the air she breathed in had not been smoke and ruin. For 100 years too! That was when Calamity Ganon was there, but Link vanquished Ganon. It had been two weeks since the end of Ganon, although she and Link needed a break from the castle and set off for Kakariko Village. It would be nice to see their friend, Impa, who had been a bodyguard for Zelda until Impa had gotten too old to protect her. Link was just a person to save Zelda in times of need, but when Impa came to the point where she couldn't protect Zelda much longer, Zelda put Link in charge of being her bodyguard. And Impa had left to serve Kakariko Village with her Granddaughter, Paya.
"Hey! Look at this view!"
Zelda turned her head, still a bit dreamy. It was Link! She smiled.
"What is it?" She asked "Oh my..."
She had just realized that they were on one of the many giant hills by Kakariko Village. The view was... spectacular.
"We're almost there!" Link said, grinning.
Zelda felt her legs grow tired, and hopped on her beautiful white horse by the name of Storm. Link, seeing her do so, hopped on his horse, Epona, a beautiful brown horse. They rode for a while when something caught Zelda's eye.
"Look! She said pointing. It was Kakariko Village. "But it's so far away..."
"We can make it!" Link said
"What?! No we can't! Look at all the hills we'd have to jump off of! That would hurt!!" she winced at the thought.
"You're right!" he said. "But haven't you ever wanted to go on my glider?"
"Yes..." Zelda slightly blushed at the thought.
"Then let's do it! Here, you hold onto the right side and I'll hold onto the left!"
"Oh no, I couldn't do that!" She thought of falling off and-- no, she couldn't.
Link sighed. "Yes, you can. I'll hold your hand, if you want..." Link was smirking at her, knowing she wouldn't want to.
"Oh, stop Link." Now Zelda was smiling. Oh, Link, he knows my weakness...
"Come on! It'll be fun!"
"It's too dangerous, Link!" Zelda was looking at him, frowning.
"But do you really think so?" He leaned in and poked her cheek. "Boop!."
Zelda swatted his hand away, blushing. "Stop!!!" Zelda didn't like how "free" he was...
"Fine..." Link said, grinning.
"You always get the better of me..." Zelda said, half disappointed.
Link looked shocked. "N-no I don't!!!" Link was stammering?!
Zelda giggled. "Seems like I just got the better of you." Ha! Got ya...
Link was silent for a half second and then laughed. "Alright, you got me." he paused, then said "but can you just...Try it?"
Zelda sighed. There was no use arguing. "Fine. What's the plan?"
Link wiggled around a bit in a victory dance. "Ok. You hold on to the right side and I'll hold on to the left. All we have to do is run up to the cliff and jump. Just hold on to the glider."
