Sorry for the short chapter, just trying to stay on top of everything. Finals are next week so I am stressed!! XD

He ran across the bridge from the reservoir to Zora's Domain. He slid across the floor, heading to the gigantic table filled with many chairs, and there sat the Princess of Hyrule. She was kindly talking to a young Zora, who seemed to be delighted to be talking to her.

"Zelda!" he yelled, eying the mighty tasty looking steak. No time for food, as much as it looks absolutely mean, he thought.

Zelda looked up, startled. "Y-yes, Link?" She hastily turned towards the younger Zora. "Just a minute, please." She turned back to Link curiously.

"I, uh. Need to speak with you. It's urgent," he added, nodding towards the reservoir.

She nodded. "See you later, Finley." She smiled and they walked off to the side. Link leaned onto the bridge's side. "What is it?" She asked, tilting her head.

"The inner code. It's damaged."

"What?!" She asked, her eyes widening. Link panicked.

"I-i-it's not that bad-!" he stammered, becoming suddenly tense in defense of her outburst.

"The Divine Beast has code?!" She suddenly looked surprised and excited. "Oh. My. Hylia. This is amazing!!!"

"I, um, what?" He stopped and his face wrinkled up in confusion. He paused, trying to comprehend. "Ohhh, no, no, no, you have it all wrong, it's the Sheikah Slate." He facepalmed at his vagueness. "Sorry, I was vague."

"Oh." She glanced at the Sheikah Slate. "Of course that has code. Wait but do you think Vah Ruta has code?! It has to, doesn't it?!" She smiled and grabbed Link's hands, pulling them down in an accidentally cute way.

"I-" Link's body tensed and his eyes widened for a second, then he looked away, a sensation of heat coloring his face. No, stop, don't you dare, he thought, denying any warm feeling in his chest. Forcing himself to face the Princess, he said, "Y-you must be correct. After all, y-you're the one who's done the research."

Zelda tilted her head, and realized she was holding his hands. She immediately let go, blushing furiously. "I, um. Thank you, Link."

"O-of course," he said, trying to control his face's color. He rubbed his hands, even though they weren't cold.

There was an awkward moment of silence.

"Have you gained any more info?" Zelda asked, trying to break the silence. She looked at the ground trying to hide her face without being obvious.

"Oh, no, not really. Just that it's damaged. The Sheikah Slate itself, I mean."

"Okay," Zelda sighed, giving up on the conversation.

"Let's eat, then." Link said, "I'm sorry I don't have any more information."

"No, it's alright. I was just...curious." Zelda said, feeling bad.

He stepped to the side. "Please, you've been busy all day." He said, motioning to the table.

Zelda sat down. Link sat to the left of her

Sidon looked up at his father, King Dorephan. Dorephan nodded, and Sidon stood. "Let us begin this feast!" Everyone cheered and waited for Zelda to begin eating.

But, as Zelda was polite, she waited for someone else to eat. There was a pause where everyone waited. Finley nudged Zelda. "Go on." She whispered, then smiled.

Zelda looked at Finley, confused. "Oh! Pardon me." She took her first bite. Everyone dug in, happily eating. Many of the small children eyed Zelda and Link, but every time either of Hylians looked at one of them, they quickly looked away.

Link smiled and ate. Zelda was also enjoying her food, but didn't eat as heartily.

The feast went on for a while, and there was a lot of chatter and fun that Link didn't have to worry about the Sheikah Slate for the night. (Also, he forgot about it.)

Again sorry for the short chapter, I'll hopefully write more during Winter Break :') Sorry for any misspells, or grammar issues!
