Link and the others gathered at the terminal at the top of the trunk. Oh, I hope I'm being helpful to Zelda... Link thought as they inspected the surrounding area. Mipha? Do you think I'm being helpful?

Yes, Link. Of course you are. I...I wish I was with you.

I'm sorry, Mipha. I wish you were here, too. He could hear the muffled, sad, laugh that came from her.

Link didn't realize that Zelda was talking to him.

"Link? LINK?"

"OH! Sorry...what?"

Zelda giggled in a cute way. "Oh, Link...I was just ASKING you what you wanted for dinner!! Sidon and I are gonna have some simmered Staminoka Bass."

Hmmm, sounds good, if you ask me!! Link thought. "Sure, that works for me."

"Great! Now what were you thinking about?? You looked so concentrated!!" She giggled.

"Oh! Um. That was nothing." Yikes, she can tell? Mipha, why didn't you warn me? You knew, didn't you?

Yes, I knew. But I thought you knew!! Mipha giggled a bit.

"Hm. Ok, then." Zelda said. "Well," she started, "Sidon and I are going to go get some dinner...do you want to stay here and fix things up a bit more, or...?"

"Oh, sure. I'll stay here."

Zelda and Sidon walked away, chatting, and laughing.

Link sat on the stone, looking at the pedestal.

Link...

Yes?

I didn't expect you to come back...until...until I saw you walking down the path to the reservoir.

Oh...well, I came back, for you, and to help Zelda. She needs my help.

I know. I'm just...glad that you came.

Of course.

Link didn't see any damage. I thought there was damage here... Link touched the Sheikah Slate to the pedestal. Nothing happened.

Mipha, is it supposed to be like this?

No!! Why isn't it working?! Maybe that's the damage!!

It's the inner code that was damaged!! I need to tell Zelda!! Mipha, I'll be back, but I need to find her.

O-ok!

Link ran as fast as he could. He ran down the trunk, jumped over the water at a dangerous speed, ran up the other side of the trunk, ran, swerved to the right. He ran across the room, banked right, ran down the slope, swerved left. At last he was at the entrance.

Link, be careful. Really careful. The inner code for the terminal might have given the Slate a bug. Don't use the runes right now. Got it?

Ok. I didn't think of that. Thank you, Mipha.

Link took a deep breath, and jumped off the Beast. He got his glider out, and went straight through the air. He landed in the water a few feet from the dock. He swam the the edge of the Luminous platform, then got onto it. He ran again, swinging his head frantically from side to side. He ran straight into Bazz, a Zora guard that he had trained years ago.

"OOF. Oh, hi, Bazz. Um, what are you doing here?"

"Master Link! I was sent by Princess Zelda and Prince Sidon to tell you to make your way to the feasting room. They are preparing a 'delightful dinner.'"

"Oh, got it. I'm in a hurry to get there anyways, but thank you!!" He called, running toward the Domain.

He left Bazz standing on the path in a shocked state.

Thanks for reading!! Sorry for the short chapter (again) I've got homework so this was rushed, haha.... :/
