Chapter Seven

(*The host wanders around the spare building for a few seconds until she finds Ace sitting on his knees while looking underneath the bed*)

Me: *is already a month pregnant* Ace, what are you doing over there?

Ace: I'm tryin' to find my guitar pics. I had them all in this plastic bag and now, I can't find it anywhere.

Me: *almost laughs* Well, where were you the last time you had them?

Ace: Hmm...last night, Peter and I went to a fundraisers, and it was for a Kiss family's daughter, and she was a leukemia patient. I gave her one of my guitar pics, and there was a lot of KISS fans that wanted their merchandise signed.

Me: Cool! *then hears Suzy and the girls calling for me* Well, I hope you find what you were looking for. *waves at Ace and walks away*

(*In the kitchen...*)

Vinnie: *is helping KellerSinger18 make lunch for Baby Gia*

Paul: *is sitting at the kitchen table while reading a cookbook*

Suzy: Hi Emily!

Me: Hey girls!

Vixen91: How are you feeling?

Me: I'm doing fine and I've already felt the baby moving around, even when Vinnie and I are asleep at night.

Eli: MEooow! This new baby is gonna be the cat's meow!

Paul: *laughs* Yeah, it is.

Suzy: Anyway, we wanted to know if you and Vinnie are planning on having a baby shower.

Me: Well, me and Vinnie have talked about it a little bit, and we haven't really figured anything out to be honest.

Vinnie: Yeah, and I have family all the from Connecticut. I don't even know if they any of them are vaccinated, yet.

Vixen91: It wouldn't be a good idea to have as many people here, because Emily is pregnant, and she would be exposed to a lot of illnesses, especially COVID-19.

Michael Jackson: *helps KellerSinger18 feed Baby Gia* That's true. A pregnant woman's system isn't very strong. I know from experience

Vinnie: *carefully wraps his arms around me* Maybe we could just have a baby shower with just all of us, and not invite any family members.

Me: I'd have to agree with you, Vinnie. We also can't expose anyone else who's isn't vaccinated.

Eli: Yes, especially the children.
