Olivia stumbled as she breathlessly ran to her house. A gasp escaped her lips and her hands began to shake violently when she took in the sight in front of her.

All the furniture was broken and thrown around, the antiques were lying messily on the floor and the glass was broken. She could hear faint sobs from inside making her heart clench and guilt filled her heart. Clary. Her sister was hurt and she couldn't do anything to help her.

"Clary," she whispered softly as she made her way inside, seeing her sister on her knees. Her red hair was wet and messy, mascara ran down her face as her lips quivered.

"What happened?"

"M-mom," the redhead sobbed as she ran to her younger sister, hugging her tight. "S-she's gone."

"What do you mean she's gone?"

"They took Jocelyn," she heard a familiar voice making her look up.

"Dot," Olivia sighed in relief as she looked up at her mother's assistant with hope in her eyes.

"Who took her?" Clary cried as she slowly got up.

"Rogue Shadowhunters searching for the mortal cup."

"Who searching for the what?" Olivia frowned, "The heck are you talking about Dot?"

"Think Clary," she walked forward. Olivia's eyes narrowed as she pulled her older sister behind her. Something was wrong. Dot was warm and patient, but this Dot sounded too cold and distant.

"Did your mother ever talk to you about a cup? A very important cup. I-it's gold, almost like a chalice."

"No! No, I don't know anything about a cup, Dot," Clary sobbed. "O-one of the antiquities downstairs?"

"No, n, not those," Dot frowned. "Think Clary. This could save Jocelyn."

"I can't think. Someone kidnapped my mother," Clary yelled.

"You know more than you think Clary Fray," Dot said making Olivia take another step back with her sister, her hand finding a broken piece of glass and holding it tightly.

The same tentacles and teeth she had seen on the girl in the club appeared on Dot making Olivia push Clary to the side, knocking her head onto a table. She stabbed it with the glass and pushed it away from her. Veins grew on the demon's face and its body transformed into the most hideously unattractive thing Olivia had ever seen.

The demon growled as it lunged at the redhead, it bit her neck making her yelp in pain.

"Hey! Ugly," Olivia threw a piece of antique at it making it pounce on her. She needed to distract that thing, keep its attention on her to keep Clary safe.

She sobbed as it got closer to her, its tentacles nearly wrapping themselves around her neck when she saw light appear on its chest and it turned into ash like at the club.

The blonde boy from the club looked at her with concern in his eyes as she sighed in relief.

"What? No thank you for saving your life?" Jace asked making her roll her eyes.

"What the hell?" Olivia heard her sister gasping making her look at the redhead looking at her with tears in her eyes.

"Clare bear," Olivia sobbed as she ran towards her sister, enveloping her in a tight hug. They pulled away and Olivia faced them.

"Careful," Jace said softly as he grabbed her waist and checked her out for injuries.

"That demon got a piece of her," Jace said to her when Clary gasped for air making Olivia rush to her sister's aid.
