Dabi stands, grabbing my wrist and dragging me out after him.
I stumble to keep up. "What are you doing?"
He goes around the side of the building again. "I have something to tell you."
I yank my wrist from him. "I can walk by myself."
He looks at his empty hand and then at me, but if he has something to say, he doesn't.
"So? What do you want to say?"
He sighs, walking closer to me and wrapping his arms around my neck. He looks down at me. "My real name... I's Toya, Toya Todoroki and when I was a kid-"
I put a hand to his mouth. "Stop. You don't have to tell me. I know you never liked talking about your past."
"I don't but I don't want it to chrome as a surprise to you. The big plan Shgiaraki has, it's not going to go perfectly."
"What, you're saying you plan on doing something different?"
"I plan on telling people, everyone, what my father has done, how bad of a person he is." He pauses, looking up at the night sky, a smile lighting up his face for a moment. "He was abusive. He raised me to surpass All Might, make me better than everyone. And it was okay for a while, besides the times where I'd go crying into Natsuo's arms..." He looks back down at me. "Until Shoto was born. He forgot all about me, just discarded me like I was nothing. That's why I left, why I faked my death."
I lean my head against his chest. "It's not like he can hurt you anymore."
"Maybe..." He says it in a disbelieving tone.
I look up at him. "I won't let him."
He laughs. "You couldn't stop him. You wouldn't be able to. You're not good at using your quirk and you can't stop things happening in my mind."
I step back. "That was unnecessary. I may not be good at that sort of stuff, but I would rather be burned alive than stand by, watching as your father hurt you."
"Don't say that...'' He grabs me, pulling me against him again.
"But it's true."
"I don't care." He looks fiercely at me, not leaving any room for me to argue.
I sigh. "Who's Natsuo?"
"My brother."
"And Shoto?"
"Brother. I have a sister too, Fuyumi."
"Mom?"
He nods. "I have a mother, yes."
"I think I met Shoto once. At UA, I had to-"
"Don't talk about that." He leans back, grabbing my face. "It gets annoying."
I ignore him and swat his hands away. "He was nice."
He suddenly grabs my things, yanking me up and holding onto me.
I gasp and blush, wrapping my arms around his neck. "What was that for?"
"To get you to stop talking." He takes a step back, pushing me against the wall. "And to get you to kiss me."
