I woke up this morning with my usual routine of brushing my teeth,taking a bath and dressing myself appropriately my stepdad is a little over protective I'm used to it besides he makes my mom happy and she hasn't really been happy since my dad left

I walked downstairs to see my mom making breakfast and settling them onto the table

"good morning" I said cheerfully

"Good morning sweetie" my mom replies as my step dad glares at me and what I'm wearing

The smell of bacon and pancakes sided with fresh berries erupts my nose as I grabbed a plate and headed to the table I have a step sister her name is zuri I know kind of cliche that we have similar names but my stepdad treats her like a little princess but after all she's only five so I can't really complain

I have classes really early this morning so I'm leaving approximately 8:30 to catch the bus because my stepdad has to work but I'm okay with it

I grabbed my bag and headed to the bus stop

I finally reached in school after taking two buses to get here gosh when am I gonna get my licence

"good morning" I greeted everyone as I walked in and gave a gentle smile

"good morning" some of them replied and they even returned the smile

Our teacher mrs.Walters walks in and greeting us giving us our last assignments ever I can't believe I'm graduating in two weeks its crazy I'm only eighteen I know still a little young but I skipped 1st grade even though I can't afford college I still wanna get a job nearby to earn some money be independent and all that

"good morning bestie" my best friend skylar squeals happy as ever she's the only one I trust and she is such a diva/goddess

"Good morning luv" I replied in a funny Australian accent causing her to snort at my words and I laughed back

Skylar and I have been best friends since birth and she has never gave up on me no matter what shit I have been through she's a Montgomery on of the most richest families in California so she also has a reputation to uphold and we bother share our pain by doing on thing we call it 'the wreck room' its and empty room in skylar's basement that we use to crush and smash things its our way of letting off some steam and I love her so much

"hey babe what's wrong... U do t look too good" she says and I swear she can see right through me she's the only one who knows about my stepdad no one else

"I saw my ex boyfriend at the mall again" I whisper quietly

"That son of a bitch" she stood up and barks so that the entire class hears I elbowed her a bit to let her calm down I swear this girl got some serious anger issues.

She sits back down trying to calm herself from what I just said and lets out a sigh and grabs her forehead in frustration soon after she calms down and I see something on her mind

"what's going on are you alright??" I asked suspicious yet worried

"Nothing..I'm fine...just tired" she replied with a saddened face and I wanted to scream at her until

My ex boyfriend steps into the class a piece of trash may I add asshole treated me like trash and apparently was seeing some blonde behind my back I'm still not sure who it is yet but I don't really care anymore I took my anger out in 'the wreck room'

Mrs.Walters starts talking but I couldn't help but notice how worried skylar looked like there was something on her mind I'm not sure what it is yet but I'm intrigued

Its now lunchtime and skylar still hasn't told me what was bothering her but one thing with skylar is that she convinced herself both at she doesn't have any feelings cause she hates getting hurt So I decide to give her some time on her own being the best friend I am

But I wanted to know so I invited her for a sleepover at my house hopefully my stepdad won't be drinking tonight he only drinks every Friday with his friends but other than that nothing which I'm glad because there's some girls out there whose dad drinks everyday and I feel really bad for them

But anyway skylar and I always have sleepovers every Wednesday its the one day we both have no energy and needs a reboot

It's night now and skylar and I have changed into our matching pajamas

"hey I'm gonna go grab some snacks brb" she says and instantly ran out the door

"o..kay" I said but I brushed it off

"Ugh what's taking her so long its been half an hour" I sigh in frustration as I walked down stairs quietly hoping to scare her

Until I saw the most shocking thing I could think of

I saw skylar and my stepdad kissing on the counter they were basically making out

"WHAT THE HELL!!!" I screamed on the top of my lungs loud enough to make my mom come down here

She comes rushing down the stairs to see

"what are you doing" she says calmly and I look at like she's insane as skylar slides off the counter grabbing her coat and leaving that little

"honey I have to tell you something" she said cutting me off my thoughts and now facing me

"I knew honey" she said I look of disbelief shows on my face as she said those words

"He makes me happy hon.." I cut her off running toward the front door not even grabbing a coat I picked up my phone and headset and ran out side didn't even realised it was raining

As I turned on 'Angel by the wings by sia' and jogging through the rain not sure where I'm even going there is just alot of adrenaline in me right now that needs running off until I suddenly approached a bridge with the sudden urge to jump off by knowing the fact that my best friend who I knew my whole life was having a secret relationship with my dad and on top of that my mom knew

Okay end of this chapter I'm doing 1000 words each but thanks for giving my book a chance I really appreciate it
