As I'm being carried by Adam into his room I couldn't help but wonder why he could've just let me sleep on the couch or something but I am really grateful to be with Adam right now I don't have anyone else in my life but him
He laid me gently on the bed and covered me with his blanket and it smells just like him
"Go to sleep zoe"
"you're not going to"
"no I'm gonna go to security and take my anger out on them"
"No" I said and grabbed his wrist as he was about to walk out
"stay with me..please" I pleaded
"fine" he sighs and lay down next to me and I rested my eyes
"zoe" he said in a soft tone and I hum in response
"what are your plans gonna be now" I opened my eyes and looked at him
"I'm not sure"
"well I've been thinking maybe you can stay with me" he said
"I still need help finding the case file"
"sure its not like I anywhere else to go"
"don't say that you will always have a place here"
"but zoe you should really call your mom don't shut her out like that" he says and I feel my heart burn he sides closer to me and placed his chin on the top of my head and our legs wrapped around each other
"okay I will" I slowly drifted off in the hands of Adam he's not some ruthless killer he's a sweetheart
The next morning I woke up to Adam on top of me and his hands under me I stared laughing and he woke up
"what are you alright" he says and wow his morning voice is amazing kinda turns me on
"yeah I'm fine" I said blushing a little
"Okay" he got up off of me and I don't know what I find more attractive his messy hair or the fact that he just pulled out his shirt in front of me
"Ill go make breakfast pack your things we are moving out"
"okay" I say and he walks out the door
I got up grunting and walked over to my room and started packing but I couldn't help but wonder how long my dad has been watching us I wonder if Adam knows I never told him I saw someone at the bridge last night and how long has my dad been following me
I walked down the stairs and sat at the table wondering then Adam puts my plate down it has pancakes syrup and my personal favorite gummy worms I smile like a child who just got his ice cream
"thanks"
"what's wrong"
"oh nothing" I said trying to brush it off
"zoe you can tell me what's wrong"
"Adam last night.... When we were at the bridge" I stutter trying to tell him
"I saw the shadow figure staring at us"
"what figure"
"there was someone spying on us and last night it was the same figure at my window my dad has been following me"
"zoe tell me your not lying to me right now"
"I'm not" I says frowning
"why didn't you tell me sooner"
"didn't think it was important"
"how could you not think that was important" he yells at me and I jump in fright
"zoe" he says breathing out
"I have to tell you something"
"what is it"
"I was the one who got your father in that accident that night" and at that very moment my heart drops

"I also knew that you were gonna be at that bridge and I kidnapped you because I thought you knew where the case file was"
"You used me"
"Cutie I didn't mean to do that I saw an opportunity and I took it"
"that's all I am to you an opportunity" I say and tears started to well up in my eyes I couldn't believe Adam did that
I picked up my coat and keys and left the house I couldn't stand to see his face why does everyone keep betraying me I was so angry I stepped on the gas too much k couldn't take it . it was so much pain I drove faster and faster then I saw a truck smashing into the side of my car everything was in slow motion and all I could've thought about was Adam the last few seconds of my life I was thinking about the man who betrayed me and even worse I told him what was going on in my life I hesitated so much to tell him and when I do I carry that as a burden
******* I woke up in a strange and somewhat weird place I was in a bed very comfortable actually trying to search the draws for something to comfort me I found a pack of gummy worms I started eating it and by my luck Adam walks through the door
"hey you're awake" he says and sighs in relief
"yeah" I say trying to sit up but my head hurts
"lie down"
"what happened"
"you got into a car accident cutie"
"oh and my luck I'm alive" I say sarcastically then Adam turns his head towards me and grabs my face
"what the fuck is wrong with you be grateful you're alive" wow his mood changed fast am I missing something
"Wow fine I'm grateful to be alive but that doesn't mean I like it"
"look cutie I know I hurt you but I didn't intend to like you like this"
"Like wha-" I get cut off by Adam as our lips collided
"like that" he says and breaks away I smiled so wide I always thought I would make the first move not him
"I know you'll never be able to forgive me but I'll be waiting as long as it takes" he says
"Oh shut up" I said grabbing his face and smashed his lips onto mine as we made out for a few minutes until he breaks away
"you taste like gummy worms" he says with his eyebrows furrow in confusion and I point on the nightstand the pack of gummy worms I was eating he looks at me and shakes his head
"come on I made breakfast"
