Adam is such a jerk first he kidnaps me and now he wants to have dinner and on top of that he doesn't know who killed my dad like come on man what does he even do for a living and why won't he answer my questions its annoying.

I get dressed I'm wearing a black cocktail dress with heels,put my hair in a bun with my bangs falling this is my final look

I don't think I have ever looked this damn good in my life I'm really impressed my parents would never let me wear this and that's when the realization hit me my mom probably thinks I'm dead oh god yeah I'm mad at her but I love her I wonder if Adam is gonna let me give her a call

I walked to Adam office and heard him talking to Dawson i know its not nice to eavesdrop but i couldn't help myself i heard them talking about a case file they are looking for that's probably the thing that my dad took for them as I knocked on the door

"hey Adam don't mean to interrupt but can I talk to you for a second" I said as I catch his eyes grazing all over my body he must think I look good

"Sure and what the hell are you wearing" he says while Dawson walks out I don't think he likes it but why I look hot you know what, I'm gonna be a bad bitch today like that girl on tik tok god she is such an inspiration she reminds all girls to be confident and I'm going to ignore all comments

"zoe go take that off" Adam says and I grew a little angry

"no way I look way too good and you are not the boss of me" I glared back at him

"I know I'm not but if you don't take it off I'm gonna rip it off" he said while looking all over my body and I don't know what about that sentence but it kinda turned me on but I acted dumb that was my only way out

"why would you want to rip it,its a nice dress" I said "besides I didn't come here for that I came here to ask you if I can call my mom she is probably really worried about me she hasn't seen me in four days can I please just give her a call?....please Adam" I plead

"How am I so sure your not gonna screw me over like your dad?" He asks

"because I wanna know the kind of things my dad did and you're my only hope so I'm gonna stick around a bit so you don't have to worry about me" I said confidently

" I also wanna help you find that file you're looking for" I said not realising that he didn't know I eavesdrop on his conversation earlier

" how do you know it was a case file I was looking for?" He asks with a confused look on his face

"I am...i was definitely not eavesdropping" i giggled and Adam scrunches his nose in Frustration

"you need to stop doing that zoe,thats invasion of privacy and if we are going to live with each other we have to respect privacy" he says and I nod

"So can I make the call" I said giving him a smile

"fine but you have five minutes and take take that fucking dress off" he says turning around heading back towards his desk
I was happy as i was turning around to head out the door I couldn't help but noticed the gun in his back pocket I suddenly felt a shiver up my spine over thinking about if he would actually shoot me

I head over back to my room and replaced my dress with some sweat pants and crop top gotta say though whoever picked my clothes knew what they were doing. I hopped onto my bed and dialed my mother's number thinking about what I was gonna say I mean I can't tell her that I got kidnapped or can I no don't zoe

"hello" my mom said

Zoe don't say it don't say it

"I was kidnapped" shit I said it god I'm so stupid

"oh my god zoe is that you?"

"yeah mom it is"

"Sweetie are you all right wait who kidnapped you"

"no mom no one did I was playing with you"

"Zoe come on, when are you coming home hunny I miss you"

"Not right now I have some thing I need to figure out I just called to let you know I was alright and that you don't need to worry about me"

"Zoe please" she cries into the phone and my eyes starts watering

"I can't mom I love you okay and mom please continue to be happy I would also like you to don't call me" I started crying and I know it sounds a little harsh but I can't hear her voice not right now

"Zoe.....I love you hunny please be safe" she always while sniffling

"Goodbye mom" I said and hung up

We arrive at the restaurant and yes I changed into a jump suit cause why not its stylish and comfy we going to a fancy restaurant the name is kind of hard to pronounce Adam and I get seated at a table for two and ordered our food while waiting Adam looks at me

"why were you crying zoe" he says in a calm tone

"Why do you care" I said harshly

"don't use that tone with me don't forget I told you that you could've left you chose to stay" he says and I feel bad

"I'm sorry" I apologized "I told my mom goodbye and my emotions are all over the place just bear with me" I said

"you just need a break we will be going to Italy in the morning to find out your dads last whereabouts" he said

"ooh can I come"

"Well obviously I wasn't gonna leave you in that house by yourself"

"Good I can't wait oh my god I've never been on a plane before"

"never?why not?" He says and I stay silent I know its kinda rude but I don't tell anyone anything especially what happened after skylar

Finally our foods here cutting the awkward silence that fills the air

"you know zoe if you don't talk about yourself how would I know if to trust you" he says firmly

"I don't let anyone know anything about me I tend to get hurt easily" I replied

"You are gonna have to get me really drunk" I laughed

"Is that so" he clicks his tongue
