A Slytherin,a Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff

☾︎♫︎𝚏𝚕𝚞𝚏𝚏;𝙷𝚘𝚐𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝙰𝚄;𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚕𝚢 𝙺𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚗𝚊𝚙♫︎☽︎

Karl came out of the potions classroom to be reunited with his group of friends.
He was a fifth-grade hufflepuff,and was one of the brightest students in the school.

"Karl! Wait for me!"
another hufflepuff caught his attention. He turned towards the door of the potions room to be able to see a boy with brown hair and different colored eyes running towards him.

"George! I thought you had already left the classroom to go to the garden"
George was another hufflepuff belonging to his own year. He had a good average and was part of his group of friends along with his boyfriend Dream,a gryffindor.

"I was detained by Professor Snape"
And both boys began to march towards their place.

"Do you know if anyone is already there?"
Karl asked curiously as they walked through the corridors.

"Bad for sure.the Gryffindor lessons should be over half an hour before ours,Sapnap,Skeppy and Dream should already be there. I don't think Niki,Eret and Sam are there too,the Ravenclaws have botamic with the Sprite today"
The beauty of being friends with the smartest ravenclaw of their year? Being able to know everything about everyone.

"Ok"
They passed the last corridors and made their way into the open space. They headed towards the tree which now represented their meeting point.

"Hi guys!"
George greeted them as he sat down next to his boyfriend,who was lying on the ground in the grass.
"Hi Georgie!"
Dream greeted him with a kiss on the cheek.
"You're such an idiot"
George replied
"Your idiot"
Karl watched there smiling as they started flirting as usual.

"Hi Karl!"
Sapnap greet him energetically. They were best friends and he was happy to see him. What Sapnap didn't know was that Karl had recently fallen in love with him.
"Hi Sapnap!"
Karl sat down next to him,who was sitting on the grass.
"You know...in a couple of days there will be the exit for Hogsmeade...and would you like to go there together?"

Is it a date? Is he inviting me out?
Karl's heart skipped a beat. It had been a couple of months that he had begun to see his best friend with him with different eyes. He hoped with all his heart that Sapnap would see him in a different light too.

"So?"
Sapnap asked the question again,still having no answer.
"Y-yes! I would like it!"
Karl prayed with all my heart that the blush on his cheeks wouldn't be noticeable outdoors.
"Fantastic! I will let you know the time and where we will go a few days before the visit"
Sapnap smiled at him as Karl looked away and blushed.

He was worse than George when he had not yet declared himself to Dream.

"Ok"
He just said, and then concentrated on something else.

He looked at the various students around him. There were some Ravenclaw,a few years younger,who were sitting and reading. Hufflepuffs who spoke cheerfully with other students...and then the Slytherins and Gryffindors. Which were in the center of the garden,competing in a spell contest. Karl was able to recognize some of their friends in the midst of that fray.

Karl was a much loved person for his personality, so he had friends from different lineages,some even Slytherins. And just one of them caught his attention. It was from their same year. He was short and had hispanic skin,had blue eyes and short dark hair,with a beanie covering them. He was inside the circle,enthusiastically cheering on another Slytherin who was casting spells at a Gryffindor.
It didn't take him long to figure out who he was. Everyone knew him after all,he was a very popular person,thanks to his playful and always cheerful personality.

It didn't take long to start blushing again. Karl also had another crush, besides the one he felt for Sapnap,there was also the one for Alex. He couldn't understand how he could be in love with 2 different people. But he had decided not to reveal anything to either of them. He wanted to see how events would evolve.

"Lex seems to be having fun,don't you think?
He hadn't noticed that next to him, Sapnap was also observing the raven a few meters away from them.
"Yeah"
Karl nodded positively.

Back to Alex,the boy was cheering on his best friend Wilbur as he threw some Stupeficium at some Gryffindors who responded with other spells.
It was really funny for his taste. He had always loved messing things up with gryffindors.

While he was cheering on Wilbur, he realized that people of his interest were watching him. Out of the corner of his eye,he'd discovered they were Karl and Sapnap.

Karl and Sapnap were some of his closest friends since childhood. Compared to Karl,Sapnap's and his were not pure-blood families,but half-blood. Their mothers were all 3 witches,and old school friends,which is why he already knew them even before setting foot in Hogwarts.

Alex waved his hand to greet them,which was reciprocated by both of them.

"Stupeficium!"
A spell cast by a gryffindor caught him in full and sent him flying a few feet.
"What the hell?!"
Fundy struck the Gryffindor with petrificus totalus and turned him to stone.
"Lex! Are you ok?"
Wilbur walked over to him.
"I'm fine...fuck...I didn't expect it"
With Wilbur's help he stood up.

What he didn't really expect was to see Karl and Sapnap approach him and ask him how he was.

"Lex! Are you alright?"
Karl asked him while Sapnap checked if he was okay.

They had both seen the scene and as soon as they saw that Gryffindor cast a spell on him and make him fly through the air they were worried. Even though it didn't seem like it, all three of them were very protective with each other. They interacted little with each other,within the school walls,but that didn't mean they didn't worry.

"Guys I'm fine. Don't Worry"
He reassured them as Wilbur dragged him back into the fray, leaving the two boys.

Back to Sapnap and Karl,the two returned to their seats,ready to undergo another embarrassing conversation.

"That's boy...always makes us worry"
Sapnap muttered as he sat back down.
Karl sighed at this statement.

"Honey...do you have cash? How high are we?"
George asked Dream, who now had a taquino in his hand as he scored something.
"24.There are 24 times that you ran to Alex to ask him how he was...and then you say that I am worse"
"Because you are worse"
"That's not true"
"Shut up muffins!"
Bad silenced them as he sat down next to sapnap and karl.

"Don't worry about them,this time don't go through their awkward talk on the subject'Do you like Alex?'"
Bad reassured them. He was aware of Karl's crush on both of them,and he didn't want to make this conversation even more difficult for him.

"Thank you Bad"
Karl thanked him.

They both fell silent,while the others began another argument,continuing to stare at the raven across the garden.

"What should we say? It's our concern"
Sapnap whispered,loud enough for Karl to hear.

And for a brief moment,Karl think to heard the "our" in the sentence a lot more pronounced.
I will be wrong,it is not possible...but...who knows...
He smiled at that thought.
Maybe....we don't know what the future holds.
