{Back From The Dead 2/2}

"Is it. . . Dead?"
Ponk groaned as he turned to the group,"First off, human, and second yes they're alive.", Karl and Foolish sighed with relief, they thought you pulled up a dead body for a while.
"It's good they're alive, but. . . Who is it??", Ponk shrugged and looked back at the unconscious guy,"I dunno, they're white as a ghost, their clothes were torn but they don't look like anyone we actually know, let alone on the Server.", Sam inspected the list of people and their pictures,"Yeah, we don't have anyone that looks remotely like them.", "But if you found him wrapped in vines, then the Egg did something to him.", Foolish frowned,"What od you mean?", "Their hair, if you look closely at the roots it use to be brown but it changing red.", Ponk parted some of the hair and showed them their hair as changing,"Dear lord.", "It won't have any effects on him will it.", "I don't know, but we will have to talk to The Eggpire about this, but for now I'll stay over night and watch him.", Sam made a slight face,"Are you sure Ponk, you don't do well when it comes to staying up late.", Ponk folded his arms,"I'll be fine, Sam.", Karl looked at the person on the bed, if this person wasn't even on the Server why would The Eggpire bury the body here??

Ponk fell asleep in a chair, his head rested on his fist.
Sam sighed and walked over to Ponk, picking him up with ease,"Maybe leave night shifts to me, Dear.", Sam lay Ponk down on a spare bed, taking off the mask so that he wasn't uncomfortable.

"Ow. . .", Ponk rubbed his neck, Sam put a cup of tea down for Ponk,"Maybe, leave the sleepless nights to me, and that is because your neck was in a terrible position when you fell asleep in that chair.", Ponk groaned,"How the hell do you do it?", Sam shrugged, Ponk stood up and went to check on the unconscious man.
Ponk opened the door and saw them laying in bed still not moving much.
Ponk sighed and placed his cup down,"His pulse is low but he may have a high chance of living still-", Ponk stopped at the sound of shuffling behind him, he turned and was shocked to see the person standing!
The person's hair was longish and messy, he was still pale as heck, still looked like he was buried alive but his eyes were barley open and was barely standing on their own.
Ponk immediately took their arm,"Hey, Sir, you need to rest.", Ponk walked them back to the bed and sat them down, Ponk pulled a chair over to them and sat in front of them,"Can you tell me your name, can you talk?", they kept their eyes on their lap and played their fingers, shaking his head,"No? Maybe try writing?", Ponk took a pencil and clipboard and handed it to them, slowly they took the pencil and carefully wrote what he could and Ponk looked,"Red. . . Velvet? Velvet, is it alright I call you that.", they nod, their hands shaking as they put the pencil down, Ponk took their hands,"Try and relax, okay? We'll do what we can to help you.", Ponk helped them lay down and went to tell them the guy was awake.

"So, this guy is awake??", Ponk nods,"Yeah, but I only know their name but no idea why they're here.", Karl nods,"Yeah, if they're not on the Server, how did they get here?", Foolish shook his head,"I dunno, think it's best to ask The Eggpire, we did find them on their property.", "True.", so the group leave to talk to The Eggpire.
"Are you not coming, Ponk?", he shook his head,"No, I'll stay behind and look after this Velvet guy, since I'm the only qualified doctor here.", Sam smiled and gave Ponk a kiss on the cheek before leaving with them, Ponk smiled to himself as he went back to work.

Bad faceplamed,"For the last time, we didn't bury anyone alive! If we did, we would have feed them to The Egg!", Foolish groaned,"Then why was there a body under the vines!?", "I dunno!", Punz groaned,"My God, didn't we establish that this is one of the many breeding ground?! The body could have came from anywhere!", "True, Punz has a point.", Sam nods, but Foolish and Sapnap kept arguing over us, Karl held his head,"This worse. . .", "Yep. . .", "They need to really take a chill pill.", Quackity groaned,"WHO EVEN IS THE GUY?!?!?", "According to Ponk and Sam, he doesn't seem to be from around here.", Hannah stepped up,"So it can't be our fault!", "You all worship this thing, shouldn't you be aware of what the vines do?!", "Sometimes!-", "Can we see who it is.", they all turn to Skeppy, he looked down with it all,"Let us see who it is, if we know the person we will take full responsibility.", Foolish sighed, Sapnap folded his arms,"Beter than nothing.", Sam shook his head, knowing something was going to go wrong.

Ponk glared at The Eggpire as he held the door handle,"Remember the rules, break the rules and you are out.", they agreed on the terms, Ponk reluctantly opened the door and let them in with him and Sam behind them.

As they entered, Ant felt his heart stop and his whole body freeze in shock and his heart literally skip a beat.
"Do any of you recognise him?"
The Eggpire shook their heads, Bad frowned,"No. . . But he looks a little familiar.", by now Velvet had been cleaned up, his hair was brushed out of his face, some plasters here and there but his eyes were a very pale green like his skin.
Ant felt as if his legs turned to jelly, there was no way. . .
"Ant? You okay??", Velvet raised his head at that name, Ant felt tears swell up in his eyes as he stared at Velvet, his throat felt raw and closed,"V. .  Velvet. . .", this shocked everyone, Ponk looked at the two,"Do you two, know one another.", with that strength Velvet had in him still, he pushed himself to stand again and walk a few steps to Ant but collapsed and was caught by Ant,"You. . .  You're alive. . .?!", everyone in the room was concerned by that statement, but none of them broke the moment to ask.
Ant cried as he rested his on Velvet's, Velvet rested his eyes and hummed to let him know he was real, Ant ran his through Velvet's hair with tears of sadness and joy.

"He died of a Plague years ago. . .", after the others left, Ponk and Ant spoke while Ponk made sure Velvet was resting well and was still alive,"Plague?", "Mhm. See: The first time I've seen a Wither, was when an idiot builder brought it to life, it was destroyed but a lot of people were hit by this decaying sickness, Velvet was one of the many people that got sick and. . . He went through hell and back, but. . . I thought he had passed away. . .! The builder was blamed for the death and destruction. . . I felt like a part of me died that day, I would have given anything to see him again. . .", Ponk nods, taking notes of this.

"You think The Egg was feeding off him?", "Yeah, I mean he looks so pale and his eyes aren't a natural colour, a very pale green."
. . .
"We should keep an eye on him, not sure if we can trust Ant but he seems to care a lot about him."

Ant stroke Red's cheek, he looked up at he ceiling and felt fresh tears swell up,"Thank you. . .",
