{A Promise To Death}

Ranboo's POV~

So.
Tommy was caught trying to steal from Techno again.
I watched as he picked up Tommy by the back of his shirt and cried him out like he weighed nothing,"Tommy, you little Raccoon if you do not stop this shit, I swear I will kill you!", with that he dropped Tommy in the snow, and in return Tommy flipped him off,"Fuck you, Techno!!", I faceplam, Tommy you are stealing from an anarchist.
Tommy and Techno started an argument about their things being taken and breaking into his house, I just stood there not sure of what to do but to watch and hope we don't another another dead Tommy.

That night, we lit the fire and Phil made hot chocolate.
Niki, Tubbo and Michael got to join us, so that was really good!
While Niki was telling Michael a story, I noticed Techno had gone outside.

I went out and saw with staring out at the night sky, I went over to him,"Hey, Techno.", he turned to me,"Oh, hello there Ranboo.", "What are you doing out here? You thinking about something?", Techno shrugged and he took a sip of his drink,"You can say.", I stood next to him and looked up at the stars,". . . It's kind of sad.", I turn to him,"I promised to protect Tommy, and he just took it to his advantage. . .", I nod slowly,"I'm sorry about that. . .", "Goes to show I can only keep so many promises.", I let the process for a moment, wait, does Techno have other promises he keeps or kept? I turn to him,"What other. . . Promises have you made?", he paused for a moment, he then turned to me,"Keep this quiet alright.", I nod, he then began to talk.

'Years ago, I made a promise back when Wilbur was around. . .6 years old, I believe. . .'

Techno's POV~

The only expectation I have for liking kids, is Philza's son and my friend's children.
Watching Phil and Wilbur play in the field was quite entertaining and when I get dragged into it, I believe I make it better. I watched as Phil let Wilbur climb on his back and give him a ride.

"Techno?"

I turn and see Kristen coming over,"Oh, Greetings, Kristen.", she smiled,"Greetings to you too. How are they?", I smiled,"Well, Philza taking Will for a spin so, they're happy.", she nods, I noticed there was something off about her smile,"Is there something wrong, Kristen?", she smiled and took my shoulder,"Do you mind if we talk in private?", I nod,"Of course.", with that she took me inside.

Kristen seemed a little anxious,"I have spoken to Phil about this and Will, and they've been understanding. . .", I frown,"Is everything alright? Has something happened?", she turned to me,"Well. . . I have to leave for a while.", I was taken it back,"Wait, what?!", she nods,"It involves my family and, of course my role of Death.", I nod slowly, I look away to let it process,"Techno. . .", I turn back to her,"Can you make me a promise. . .? To protect Phil and Wilbur. . .", I think for a moment, I look out the window at Phil and Wilbur playing outside, I look back at her and nod.

Ranboo looked at Techno in surprise,"So, you promised Philza's wife to protect him and Wilbur.", Techno nods,"Yep. See, if anything happened to Phil or Wilbur, it won't end well.", Ranboo was confused,"What do you mean?", Techno held up his hand,"Phil has a marking of a rose of the back of his hand, he has to hide it with his gloves. Because, Kristen is a very powerful woman, if any hunter knew Phil was married to her and had a child with her than they would take them just to get to Kristen.", Ranboo nods, feeling bad,"Oh. . . Sorry.", Techno smiled,"It's fine.",  Ranboo smiled at the night sky,"She sounds like a nice person.", "Yep. For The Goddess of Death.", with that Techno went inside, Ranboo nods and took a drink of his hot chocolate.

Ranboo then realised what Techno just said, he spat out his drink in shock,"HE MARRIED WHO?!?!?", Techno's laugh echoed in the house.
