{New God Of Life 2+3/3}

The group were staring at Punz and Wilbur in shock.
Foolish stood immediately,"Which one of you two opened it.", Wilbur, who was just as shocked as them, pointed to Punz,"He did it.", Punz shrugged,"Maybe the lock was just stuck-", "Nope. One moment.", Techno stood up, took the book and closed it and put the latch on,"Thr latch is on.", Punz nods, Techno then went went to open it but like Techno suspected the latch hex was on again, he then handed it to Punz,"Now try opening it.", Punz, confused, opened the latch with no problem or it being apparently stuck.
Philza stood as well and Foolish covered his mouth at the realisation,"Punz. . . Only could The God Of Life could open that book.", Punz looked confused, but as he looked at the groups shocked expressions, did it finally hit him.
Punz dropped the book and backed,"No. No, no, no. There's. . . There's no way he'd give me his-.  .  . There's just no way!", "Then how else would the book open for you?", Punz couldn't think of an answer, many things were running through his head but the one that kept repeating was the question: Why. Why Him.
"Punz, sit down.", Punz let Wilbur sit him down, Techno turned to Philza and Foolish,"If Dream really did transfer his magic to Punz, he'll be needing training to control it and use it.", Foolish nods,"And we'll also need him to carry a you know what around.", Foolish nods again, aware of the side effects of the powers.

Ranboo watched as Philza made tea,"What  did you mean by he needs to carry something around?", Philza turned to Ranboo, worried on how he would react but he deserved an answer,"Well, magic always has a side effect. If his powers go over a certain limit, his skin will begin to blister, bruise and fry along side of him getting tired.", Ranboo stared at him in shock and fear,"That's why?-", "Yeah. . . It was the main reason Dream gave up on using magic.", Ranboo sat down, letting information sink in.
"Ranboo, we can't tell anyone who Dream gave his magic to, it will only put Punz in danger."

Punz couldn't believe it.
I mean-, he could have thought if several different people that Dream could give his magic too and yet he chose him?

Punz groaned and pulled his hair in frustration and fear,"You okay?", "No, Foolish.", Foolish sat next to Punz,"I know you probably hate this, but. . . If Dream gave you his magic, he obviously trusted you very much.", Punz nods,"He. . . He did. But, I didn't expect this. And uh, I guess he showed me how to use it a few times. . . Was he planning this?", "More like he was planning for a worse case scenario.", Foolish gave Punz a pat on the shoulder,"I promise, it will work out, we'll help you.", Punz slowly nods, unsure of how this will go.
But all he could think was just as itchy his neck was, he felt like he was overheating and his windpipe was clogging up,
Punz couldn't help but scratch his neck,"Foolish. . . Is. . . Is this a side effect.", Foolish immediately stopped Punz,"Yeah, your body is getting use to the power its holding and you can't scratch or it will make it worse.,", Punz groaned at the pain, gritting his teeth.

**Just realised the book only goes to 200 chapters, so that was awkward.**

Foolish took Punz inside the temple and sat him down,"I'll get you something for it.", Punz nods as Foolish felt.
"Was. . . Did this happen to Dream?", Foolish came back, he lowered his head a little and nods,"Y-Yeah. . . As a kid and now, if Dream were to goo past a certain limit to his powers, his skin would fry, blister and bruise. It's why he gave up using it, but he would have never given it to someone else if he had a choice to, he would never want someone to feel what he did.", Punz nods, Foolish went through the medkit and pulled a few things,"You'll be needing to keep a med kit on you.", Punz nods, still feeling like his neck was burning, till Foolish kneeled down and opened a tube,"Here; Try using this, it should help the burning.", Punz took it and put it on his neck and hands, "Sorry you're getting caught up in all this.", "Not your fault I guess. . . Maybe if I can control it, I can. . . Bring Dream back.", Foolish nods, but worried if Punz would go through what Dream did he tired to bring a God back.

Over the weeks, Foolish has helped Punz control the powers as well as treating the wounds of the side effects.
