It's now 4:00 and we dropped Tavi off to Jacob Latimore, let's just say she was really, really, really happy which was all that mattered. Matthew called and texted me a few times but I lied and said I was busy just to avoid him. On the good side, C.J called me not to long ago saying how bored he was. My poor baby, I might ask mama if he can come over to help us with the nursery, since we're gonna start working on it today we'll need all of the help we can get, since Tavi won't be doing her part until 7:00. Jordyn would be a big help, too but I just want C.J to be in my presence.
This whole situation I am in is messy as hell. I shouldn't have dated Matthew and none of this would have happened. I feel like a hoe, even though I'm really not one.
The door bell rung, indicating that Jordyn was here. I closed my eyes and prayed that I didn't have to deal with her attitude this weekend. I walked downstairs and opened the door. There stood Jordyn wearing some pink sweat pants with a matching hoodie, and her pink uggs and all of her hair sat in a pony tail.
"Hey girl." I said stepping aside, letting her in. "Hey boo" she spoke back.
My eyes averted in the drive way to wear her mom was in the car. "Hey Rain!" she yelled. I waved and smiled. "Tell your mom I said hey, and I'll call her later!" I nodded. My mom and Jordyn's mom were like best friends, which was super weird maybe because that's Jordyn's mom or because this is the first female friend mama has had in a minute.
"You need some money Jordyn?" She started to pull out but slowed down. Jordyn looked at me with a questionable look on her face I shook my head. "We're gonna be in the house for most of the weekend I guess. If we go out I'll pay for you." I assured her. One thing about being my friend is I'll pay for mostly everything so there was no need to worry.
"Come here Jordyn. I'll give you some money just incase!" She yelled. Jordyn dropped her Victoria Secret duffel bag and ran to the care. Her mom gave her some money, and then gave her a kiss on the cheek before Jordyn ran back into the house with a fifty and a 20 dollar bill in her hand.
I carried her bag up to my room. "Girl, your room is nice. I like this house." She loudly said making me laugh.
I sat her bag down at the bottom of my bed. "I hope you don't mind but we're all helping my momma with the nursery for the babies, and we'd appreciate if you helped."
She nodded her head. "Oh girl I don't mind, it'll actually be fun for me good thing I brought some sweats. Let me take a shower real quick." She took a bra, panties, some A&F shorts with a matching tank out and headed into my bathroom. Jordyn showered at least 3 times a day which was just silly in my opinion but she's a big germaphobic, it was just her nature. "Girl you got pads?" she said. I nodded my head, "Under the sink to the left. Towels are to the right." I instructed her as she nodded and closed the bathroom door behind her.
I sighed on my bed and wondered if I should ask mama if C.J could come over and help us, he had transportation so all he needed was permission. I finally built the courage up to walk down the hall to ask her. When I made it to her room, she sat on her king sized bed stuffing her face with popcorn as she watched What's Love Got To Do With It on her flat screen TV.
"Ma." I called out, causing her to snap her head in my direction.
"What?"
"Can my friend... C.J come over to help us with the nursery?" I nervously asked, scared of her response & what she'd say.
"Who?" She picked up the remote and turned the TV down.
"C.J" I spoke up louder, and more clearer with more confidence.
She smiled. "You like him."
I blushed. "I sure do."
She started laughing. "Fuck I look like putting two teenagers who LIKE each other in the same damn house? That boy is probably all types of hormonal."
