Maribel could barely sleep the rest of the week so excited to attend the school, but at the same time she was unsure about leaving. She was so close to her family, could she really stand being apart from them? Her parents explained she would be going to places completely different from her village, and she would be feeling home sick, so everyone in the family made her gifts the day before she left.

Isabela gave her a flower crown that would never wilt or break, Luisa gave her workout shoes, Julieta gave her recipes for her favourite meals, Alma gave her a candle crafted to be almost exactly like the one on the window seal, and various other gifts were given, but those were the main ones.

Maribel smiles thanking all of them before she got out her gift. It was for Antonio, a cute little Jaguar stuffed animal. "So he remembers me," she smiles.

Everyone gives her a big hug lots of tears shedded.

At that moment Ms M arrives. "Are you ready Maribel? You may take your time saying good bye we have time," Ms M said looking at something in her hand.

Maribel looks at her family and gives them all a big hug. "I love you all, thank you," she said and gives each of them a big hug. "Goodbye casita," she said and hugs a pillar. You could feel casita feeling sad she had to go.

Maribel picks up her bags and walked over to miss M teary eyed. "Bye everyone," She said waving. They waved goodbye and Ms M waves her wand. A mist swirls around them, and the last Maribel saw of her family was Antonio playing with his Jaguar stuffy. She didn't see how her mother broke down crying as soon as she was gone.

They enter a small room, with two beds, a red carpet, curtains, a door with a mirror attached and pushing it aside you could find a bathroom.

"How do you feel Maribel?" Ms M asks the child. "A little woozy," Maribel answers. "That's normal you'll get used to it," Ms M said placing her bag down.

"So what's going to happen now? Are we going to Hogwarts?" Mirabel asks.

"Not quite yet Maribel, first I need to introduce you to the world outside your village and explain rules you must follow to stay in Hogwarts. You break any of them and you could be sent back to your village banned from participating in any sort of magic," Mirabel nodded scared by this prospect. This was her one chance to prove she was special to her family.

"First rule is you cannot practice any magic outside of school grounds until you are seventeen years of age. Exceptions are emergency such as if your being attacked or you need to help someone. The next rule is you cannot," And from there Ms M explained each of the rules and Mirabel repeated them committing them to memory. She could not mess this up at all. "And lastly no matter what you tell no one about your family. If anyone asks you are muggle born got it?" Ms M asks. Mirabel nodded. "I promise I won't let you down ms M!" Mirabel promises and the old woman smiles at her. "Good Mirabel, but you have one exception other witches and wizards don't have," Ms M said. "What's that?" The little girl asks. "When you reach seventeen you'll be allowed to preform magic in your village, but nowhere else in the muggle world," she explains and Mirabel nodded.

Ms M then goes over to the curtains. "Now? Are you ready to see the world outside your valley? The world of wizards? The world of England?" Maribel nodded along continuously and quickly, stars in her eyes. Ms M smiles at her and opens the blinds showing buildings as tall as mountains, and metal carts pulling all on their own. Mirabel had also never been this high in the sky before, and she was fascinated.

"Where are we?" She asks. Ms M smiles at the child. "London dear,"

After learning all about London Maribel was then taken to get her school supplies. "Now remember dear, stay close to me, and if you get lost meet me at the store for wands, there's only one so you'll have no trouble getting there," Ms M said and Mirabel nodded smiling as she followed Ms M through the street, it was crowded with witch and wizards, and children of all ages filtering through. She saw objects moving on their own, and children ran in the streets going from stores and staring into windows.
