TW: SMUT

As I finished weeding the carrot garden, the sun was finally coming out from hiding. The clouds wafted away from the scene of the sky and the sun beat down on my sore body. I stood up and stretched out my muscles, groaning as my back went back to slouching. I wiped the sweat from my brow and looked towards the woods, small purple specs catching my attention.

Walking around the woods with some dirt in their hands was an enderman. Strange. You never see them during the day. I fixed my hat and grabbed my hoe, if there's an enderman here, something's about to go wrong.

I cautiously walked towards the woods, approaching the enderman with slow steps and bowed head. As I neared, it noticed me. I saw its head tilt. Its mouth opened to give a crude, "What's up?" I only looked up slightly and nodded to him, smiling as I avoided his eyes.

The surrounded forest was void of sound. Not an animal to be seen. That's rather unusual. I looked back and the enderman dropped the dirt it was holding and teleported away. I sighed with relief, thank the gods they're so anti-social.

As I went to walk back to my home, I heard as the enderman teleported back. I turned, gripping my hoe tighter, wondering if it came back to fight.

To my surprise, it just stared at me. I didn't even dare to challenge it. I looked down and noticed something in his hands. A flower, well, a bundle of flowers. Cornflowers, lily of the valley, tulips, and daffodils, along with some grass mixed in there. It held it out towards me and set it on the ground. As sure as they did that my eyes widened. This was extremely unusual enderman behavior.

I picked up the flowers, looking up to the enderman, avoiding their gaze. A small purplish hue covered their face, their body stance looking rather awkward. It had its hands clasped together, shifting awkwardly on its feet.

"Are these for me?" I asked, making sure to speak clearly. The enderman seemed taken aback by my question and stepped closer, hesitantly, reaching to grab the bouquet from my hand. I gave it back to him and listened as he spoke in broken and scratchy words, "You don't like flowers?" It said sadly.

It raised its hand to point at my house and what I can only assume was my flower garden. "I thought you liked them...?" Its voice felt hollow as its shoulders drooped. I looked back chuckling nervously, "I do like flowers. The ones in your hands are very lovely." Out of the corner of my eye, I saw it try to smile, only bearing its teeth a small bit.

I was handed the flowers once more, this time, our hands barely gracing each other. I could tell that when our hands did touch, the enderman shivered. Its hands were cold.

The flowers were gently placed in my bag while I tried my best to avoid smothering them.

Looking up my breath got caught in my throat. The enderman was bent over, staring straight into my eyes. Not only was it a death sentence to look away and start running, I never tried to look into its eyes. Why did it want to look into mine?

I tried to step away, only finding the fear kept me unable to move. I don't even have my weapons on me, I might die here.

The enderman just stood there, not even getting angry. All it did was look.

Taking in a calming breath, not even blinking, I stared back. I've never had the chance to stare at endermen eyes like this. They're usually dead or at a safe distance away, but now, it was a trance. Their eyes were bright and purple like usual, but inside were little black specs and white wisps, it looked like a miniature galaxy.

Suddenly, as soon as it started, my eyes were ripped away. Alex called for me from the house. I looked away and looked back only to find that the enderman had teleported away.
