(One small sized mistake.)

My hand shook ever so slightly; one mistake could cause a major catastrophe.

"(Y/N)!" I jumped, the vial fell from my hand and the two liquids clashed together, attacking the victim who caused the accident. Purple smoke emitted everywhere, making the sprinklers go off. "What the bloody hell?" I ask, swatting at the smoke. I covered my face, waiting for the smoke to die down.

After everything settled, I took a breath. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I jumped again, looking down to see a small child. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME?!" The kid looked a lot like Paul, so I asked, "Paul?" they looked at me with shock. "Yes?" his eyes were wide in terror. "Do you feel alright?" I said slowly, knelling down to his height. "NO! NO, I AM NOT OKAY! I SHRUNK!" he threw his small hands in the air.

I studied him closely. His clothes shrunk along with him. However, his gun went untouched. "This must've happened when the two liquids were put together rather harshly." I put a finger to my chin. Before I could finish thinking, the lab door opened and everyone saluted. "(L/N)! GET YOUR ASS UP HERE! AND BRING PAUL!" The Norwegian leader shouted, glaring at me. "This is not going to end well..."

I picked Paul up, wrapping an arm around his back and resting him on my hip. "Just... *sigh* Just leave everything to me okay?" I told him. "Whatever." He crossed his arms.

I entered Red Leaders office, shrinking in size (get it?) as I approached his desk. "You wanted to see me?" "Yes! Take a seat!" I did as I was told, setting Paul on my lap, facing him towards the leader. "Now. I want you to tell me what happened to one of my best men." Leader turned around in his chair, a murderous vibe emitting from him. "There was an accident involving the anti-ageing serum and this happened." I pointed at Paul. "Well, at least we know it works. However, until it wears off you will be in charge of watching over him. Am I clear?" my mouth was agape and my mind was thinking of every possible way this could go to hell.

"(L/n)? Was I clear?" I snapped back into reality. "Crystal." I sighed, looking Paul in the eyes. "Now, I will allow you to have a week off work. You may go home and watch him there. But if he isn't back to normal by the end of the week, then count your life ended." He smiled, resting his elbows on his desk. I held my head down, feeling a cloud pouring rain over me. "Now go on. Pack your things and get working." I nodded, "Of course sir..."

I stood up and waked out of his office carrying Paul against my chest. "Fuck my life..." I looked a Paul, seeing two brown eyes staring back. "This is your fault you know. If you hadn't decided to yell my name while I was concentrating, we wouldn't be in this situation." I broke eye contact, quickly rushing into the lab. "And it's also your fault for not working in the hazmat room." I rolled my eyes, walking to my desk. "Wait here." I set him in the chair, grabbing my backpack and stuffing some of my items inside.

Once I had finished with the bag, I turned around, my blood running cold. Paul was no longer in the chair. "FUCK!" I yelled, throwing my backpack over my shoulder, frantically searching. "PAUL!?" I shouted all around the lab. "(Y/N)!" I ran to the call of my name.

"PAUL-" I entered the room, stopping dead in my tracks. "Oh, hey (Y/n)! I was just looking for you!" it was Dexter. "Then why the fuck did you yell my name?" I balled my fist. "Because, this was the only way I could find you." He smiled, leaning against a table. "Yeah, whatever. Have you seen a little kid running around?" he tilted his head. "Oh, you mean him?" he pointed to a corner. "Paul?" I questioned, walking to the kid facing the corner. "Yeah?"

My heart jumped in joy. "Oh thank fucking god I found you." He turned around with a sad look in his eyes, seeming like he was crying. "You okay? Were you crying?" I squatted to his level. "You should've heard him, he wouldn't shut up." I glared at Dexter. "Shut the fuck up you Ken doll wannabe." He shrugged, walking away. I picked Paul up, hugging him to my chest. "C'mon Paul. Let's just get home."
