TW: HELLA SMUT / GAY AS HELL / TENTACLES????

I've only now realized how touchy Sun and Moon have gotten. Both of them, whether lights on or off, stand closer, talk more or just try to be near me at all times. I don't mind it of course, but it's become a slight problem. Management has gotten onto me about leading the two of them out of the daycare and to my workshop and I've had to tell them multiple times that I wasn't telling them anything. They were just following me on their own after hours. Hell, I even told them to pull the video from the robots themselves. But that's too much work for management.

"Okay Chica, I got all the wires matched up and you should be good to go. Sorry, you had to sit through the last trainee." I half-joked, closing up the hatch on her back. Her eyes opened and she stood up, a towering 6ft with a warm smiling impression. "Thank you, Keys. The last trainee had done a wonderful job!" The twitching reported earlier was completely gone. I don't think that trainee actually listened to the instructions. "As long as you feel fine, you should get going."

I grabbed her jacket from off one of the monitors and handed it back, opening up the door to let her out. She walked away first, swaying her hands' side to side and prancing happily back up the stairs. My manager was quick to replace the peaceful image with a rather angry face. I tried to move around him and get back to the desk so I could update the logs. But he stepped in my way.

"Care to explain?" He said, voice cracking. How did this scrawny boot camp reject become my boss? I shrugged at him with half effort and turned to put my jacket back on. "Why the hell are the daycare attendants ignoring other staff and security?" He held a phone to my face and played a video.

There was Moon and the new security guard. I could hear their voice but it was quiet, 'Moon? Shouldn't you be charging?' The video glitches and Moon was now towering over the guard, voice distorting in the camera feed, 'You don't have a say in what I do.' The guard stepped back, spitting threats to scare Moon into charging. The cussing and empty threats lasted for a minute when Moon grabbed them and threw them out of the daycare. The doors slammed shut and Moon zipped off.

"Yeah, so, do you want to explain that?" I sighed heavily, "I'm guessing he hasn't had a hard reset in a while. Wasn't it Vanessa who said she would bring him down to do that?" My manager scoffed and pocketed his phone, "Vanessa has been busy. You were told to do it instead." I raised a brow, "That's security's job. I'm not permitted to bring the robots down here during daytime hours. Y'know what? I didn't even receive an email, text, note, and by the gods, no one told me in person. If it was supposed to be me taking Moon down here to reset him then why wasn't I made aware, Kevin?" He stepped back, face turning red from anger, "You were expected to look at your schedule and figure out what needed to be done."

Oh, you're kidding. I pointed at him, lowering my tone, "I have been taking pictures of the schedule ever since you can the rest of management decided we didn't need a paper copy of our schedules. I can pull up on record that I was never scheduled to reset Moon. In fact, I can list the animatronics and what I was supposed to do on them by date. Would you like me to do that? We can be here even longer than we need to be."

Kevin's eyes widened in anger but he kept it cool. "Just get Moon reset or whatever you techs do." He stormed off, no doubt about to throw a tantrum in the employee lounge.

Trying to keep myself from punching the wall, I took in a deep breath. Let's just go check out Moon.

The daycare was dimmed. Usually, when the lights are dimmed, both Sun and Moon come to greet me but I guess they're stuck charging. Off on a manhunt for Moon and Sun. Again.

I entered a backdoor and made my way up the stairs to Sun's room, gasping at how many stairs they needed. Glad my daily cardio consists of going up two flights of stairs. God, I need to hit that mazersice.
